When it's like $85 minimum to see a band I used to like and saw for $35 that hasn't put out a new/good album in years it's like what's the point. Most of the people I like the most are dead anyway anf most bands have shitty merch or bad fan associations. Even if I like tool or megadeth I wouldn't be caught dead in a shirt of theirs. I remember glassjaw having the sickest merch but that's also because they started merchdirect and made a fuckton of money off of that and the guitarist was into ny streetwear.

There are some nice album covers to have on a shirt. But it makes me feel like a poser wearing them when I can't even name the songs on it aside from the big ones.

All shirts I own that aren't undershirts are band tees and longsleeves.I'm tall, thin, and have long black hair and a beard. I wear black skinny jeans or camo cargo shorts with Chuck Taylors or cheap black walmart nonslips if Im expecting to be walking or on my feet all day.For me the look comes with the territory, I've looked like this for the last 15 years, about half my life, and have been going to metal concerts just as long; no reason to suddenly stop now.I wouldn't recommend anybody willfully being a poser. Most people's Spotify playlists are public, you can see if they really listen to Nirvana or just picked up the shirt at wally world
