All my formalwear is shit from the department store. I'm making good money now and want to start accumulating higher quality sports coats, dress shoes, slacks, shirts, etc. Discuss your favorite entryist/just-above-department-store brands. Higher-end stuff too, if you want. Picrel is from Cesare Attolini, I like the cut of their stuff. Open to tips on finding nicer consignment items as well.

Its hard to get a good fit for me because I lift a lot so I try to stick to brands that are available in person.
My favs: Brooks Brothers (unfortunately closed in Canada), Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Spier and Mackay. Ace Marks shoes are really good for the price and have a good return policy.
