>2 colognes I don't care for / will never use.
>A pocket watch I don't care for / will never use.
>Shirt doesn't fit / not my style
>Pants I need to be return
>Hammock - no use for (I own 1 already)
>Socks, given to brother because they are neon colors
>Sweatshirt I need to return, too small, polyester
>Another shirt - need to return, ugly

Thank you family yet again for a bunch of garbage I have no use for and a bunch of niggerslopshit clothes made of plastic I'd rather never touch. I am maybe the most defined person in my family, have a unique job, unique interests, etc and yet I get useless slop garbage every year. Strangers on /k/ got me cooler gifts than my own family. Not a single piece of clothing relevant to my career or style, much less something that fits well. My mother patted herself on the back for it too.

What about you guys? I hope some of you made out with some interesting exciting gifts. Let me enjoy the season vicariously through you please.

Thanks for listening to my diary btw.

You know if you actually knew how to communicate to people they'd know not to get you plastic clothes. But instead you're a bitter autistic retard.

My mommy bought me a burgandy lands end fleece 1/4th zip. It's decent quality as far as fleece goes. It's also not that I wouldn't wear a plastic 1/4th zip ever, it's that I already have an ll bean full zip one in forest green and want to reduce how much redundancy I have in my wardrobe. It's okay, I'll wear it when I want to be warm, look okay, but may get dirty just like the other fleece. I wouldn't wear my wool shit anywhere I'm going to possibly get dirty.

Watches and colognes are absolutely things you should never buy for somebody. I bought my mom an ll bean icelandic turtleneck and a knit hat with a brim and my dad a duluth wool sweatervest with windbreak liner and a driving cap. He likes vests and she likes turtlenecks and they're both nicer than the shit they would normally buy themselves at kohls or sams club or jc penny.

I'm a little asbergery but nothing about how I dress is hard to gauge or whatever. I dress like an old man. I like old clothes. I like wool and cotton and such. I say this all the time to them.

I talk about not liking plastic clothes constantly, autistically, and yet people still buy me plastic clothes. I literally can't stand touching many plastic materials like microfiber towels
>>
>>18619987
nobody enjoys the feel of microfiber towels, they're not for drying your skin
>>
>>18619987
It's extremely frustrating and depressing. Had a very long talk with my mom a few months back at how all those ultra soft blankets she likes are actually just plastics. She genuinely didn't believe me at first and now just seems to not care.

I can't touch them to clean anything without a paper towel in between

I got the gazelles I wanted and a Seiko watch. I don't think you deserve your family given how much of a whiny brat you are

My Christmas frustration is that I didn't get to sleep until 4am. Woke up an 8am. Had to be at my parent's at 9:30.

My father has Alzheimer's and dizzy spells. He cried twice because of the dizziness. And got into arguments with my younger brother. Being on 4 hours of sleep didn't give me the psychic defences necessary to handle this and I got a bit rude.

My daughter and brother in law are sick as a dog so stayed at home.

My mother was her normal stressed about cooking the bird, even though she's done it over 45 times already.

Presents were great though - nice socks, nice shirt, orange chocolate.

What we do in our family is all make lists of items up to a predetermined limit and then everyone gets assigned someone else. Makes it a lot simpler now we have spouses and so on.

Life hack; collect T-shirt’s from trade shows. Especially if they’re partnership companies or companies of brands you stock… HR can’t say shit and it saves you so much money on pissing away clothes for work

Also the black baggy Uniqlo airism shirts look kinda casual but you can just go to the gym and lift in them after and hold up well

I work in an office setting and I get away with t shirts and fake slacks (hiking pants or cycling pants)

Another bonus of wearing a tshirt in an office setting is that if visitors come walking through the office either partners or clients

They ignore you. But if you wear a button up they follow you around and keep asking you to take them where they need to go , ask where the bathroom is or if they can have water or show them around until their appointment

I’m a sales manager and I avoid a lot of unnecessary bullshit this way and let my subordinates handle the tire kickers

Ever since I started dressing down I don’t have to sit there and explain what technical features on our product is to an office manager of some machine shop who has zero experience or interest…

Happy to say I returned as much as I could. Only got 1/2 credit at Kohl's because I wasn't given receipts.
Got 6 pairs of gold toe socks, and at Macy's got a pair of dress pants for 40% off. I also got some more stick candles for my candelabra. Overall a much better assortment of items than polyester hoodies that don't fit me.

Kohls is such an abomination

It's a way for them to try to control you.
It's deeply disrespectful, imagine the hubris for buying clothes to someone and say "you will wear this now".

Never accept clothes as a gift, tell them you only want chocolates.

I give gifts to myself all the time. I want something, i buy it.
That's what being an adult is.
