>>18620326Ramsey hasn't made a video in 9 months because his ex took his fragrance collection in the divorce. The bull must be smelling great. Also he reviewed discontinued fragrances and shilled for brands thats use real oud and musk, of course he's going to put rare and expensive shit on top of the list. If you want some cheap arabshit there are an infinite number of other channels for that.
>>18620402who cares, dude's a giga retard just like canadian stoner dad, malicious new england faggot, british rubber duck untermensch and the insecure furfaggot that lies all the time. i hope his ex really ruins him in court.
>>18620405If you really think anybody knows your youtubetard idols you're really delusional. Ramsey was a racist christcuck, shilled Russian Adam and his ilk for free shit, but at least he reviewed vintage stuff that nobody else did.
What's a fragrance released in the last 5 years that he would wear?

SOTD: polo green. A bottle that’s been in my collection for almost 10 years, gift from my uncle when I was just a teenager. I never cared for it, but now that I’m older i can def appreciate it more. If there’s a lesson in there maybe it’s to revisit things as you change and grow. Don’t be locked into one opinion for your entire life.

>>18620575>I wonder if I should order a sample.yes by all means>How would you describe it?hmm, it's a rooty but still airy vetiver embellished by further vegetal notes and some (cigarette?) smoke - kinda reminds me of a white collar guy after a day of hard work if that makes senseit's also one of the few frags which made me laugh out loud upon initial sampling, so damn good
>>18620544i still need to try this

>>18620683Green Irish tweed is similar to both, but still a relatively simple fragrance. I wonder why they couldn’t replicate it.

New l'homme ideal flanker. Sounds pretty interesting. When can we expect this to be in discounters or at stores for testing? Or is it not going on discounters because it's "limited edition"?
I got a bottle of Dior Leather Oud. It starts on very strong, one spray is enough to get good performance. I get some synthetic/chemical notes at first, with lots of smoke and leather. From the start you notice the pissy fecal stink and it doesn't go away. The heart of the fragrance is the pissy leather woody mix but you really can pick up other notes like the sweet beeswax, I also noticed some cedar halfway through. It's very balsamic too and there is a very old, almost elegant note, I can't identify. It really is like having an old man with a soiled diapers on your arm. I did warn people around me that I was testing a stinky perfume. I could not wear it around people, nobody else likes it. I thought it would start stinky and then settle down but it doesn't relent, the projection goes down just a tiny bit. I like it because it's interesting but it's not the greatest thing ever and something I can only wear for myself. It's gigantic so based of how it performs I have enough to last a couple centuries.
>I did warn people around me that I was testing a stinky perfume.
>>18620830I didn't wan't others to get accused of being stinky or for someone to be looking for the source of a stink.
>>18620800>not going on discounters because it's "limited edition"
Fragrance to smell like an old-timey larper?
Haven't been into perfumes for a while and I just tried Sauvage Elixir, How the fuck did Dior convince people to buy a Drakkar Noir clone for 200 dollars?
>>18620544I thought I'd like it, I liked the other Polos. Somehow the green one is so far removed, late 70 80s smell, a niche today in a sense...>>18620676..just like Kouros. It's a meme, mate. You are on the /fa/ board of 4chan, don't forget it what kind of people's opinions you may think of as the Ten Commandment carved in stone. Don't forget it on reddit either. I did and paid the price. >>18620936>$100 for 16ml
This is literally just 1:1 Le Male lol
>>18620943That's a lot of variety to try out. It's the smart move. Dropping $100 on one bottle is the dumb move. But it won't be dumb after all those samples. >>18620936Nice work. I don't know dick about cologne, but I know that's a good way to learn. Most are bound to be pleasant, and if not, you've lost little money to find out.
>>18620950Way too powdery for me, it’s more closer to PLH
>>18620956When you finish all those samples, which will be really fast, you're out $100. If you spend it on a bottle you will still have something of value and you can recoup your loses. When available just go to the store and test, otherwise just spend the money on an actual perfume, it will be a much better value. Imagine you do it 10 times, you're out $1000 with samples or have a collection of 10 bottles. Paying for samples has diminishing returns. It makes sense once but each time afterwards it gets worse and worse.
>>18620976Having 10 bottles that you don’t like or at worst fucking hate is worse than sampling that many fragrances. It’s weird how recently so many people act like sampling is some terrible idea but there are tens of thousands of fragrances out there all with many nuances and individual qualities that set them apart. Why would anyone want to settle for 10 mediocre frags when you can sample 100? It’s about the joy of experiencing variety.
>>18620976I didn't buy the samples, I just told him it was a smart move. He's not going to do it ten times because he'll find what he likes out of the 8 he bought.
>>18620991This. And I feel the same way about watches. I'd rather have 10 $75 watches than one $750 watch. At least for now.
Finally found my signature scent. Bye fags.
>>186209761. There are multiple houses, so likely has to visit multiple locations to sample those frags which is time consuming and quite frankly annoying.2. You are able to take your time with the scent, sample it on skin, spray in different temperatures and see how it works/changes. I would much rather not have a salesperson standing there while I sniff things.3. If you don't like it at the time, you can come back to it later and see if you're tastes have changed.4. $100 isn't a lot of money, it is better to curate than consume. 5. Blind buying is risky and nothing annoys me more than buying a frag and having to sell it because it wasn't what I expected. You are objectively wrong on all accounts.
>>18621013My worst blind buy was YSL MYSLF after that I learned to sample first
>>18621016Which one and what didn't you like about it?
>>18620991>It’s weird how recently so many people act like sampling is some terrible ideaIt's just me. I regretted more sample sets than I have regretted bottles. I could just sell the bottles I don't like, the samples are money I'll never get back.
>>18620936>Francesca Bianchi - The Black NightThat thing smells like mud, sex, gunpowder and rose.
>>18621029EDP, it's too generic for me but I love the amberwoods drydown tho. Opening and middle is meh (I hate neroli)
>>18621013A 2ml sample is gone in the blink of an eye. If that's enough for you to make a decision you would have been better off doing it for free at a store. For things you can't test at a store you get better value with a travel spray. Endless sampling is more consumptive than buying full bottles sampling is an additional step to buying a bottle.
>>18621037LolLmao even
How do I get the balls to wear something with this? I only wear discreet frags and anything smokey has been nuclear. It smells great though, although it can come off as smelling like a church.
>>18621142>fruityWhat?
>>18621142Just wear them. Who cares what this sinful world thinks? Life’s short
>>18621037>a 2ml sampler is gone in the blink of an eye, you’d have been better off going to the storeI cannot agree with that in any way. To the point I think we’re better off just saying we’re different people with different lives and it’s fine to disagree. And I’m not even the anon who posted the shopping cart list >standing at a perfume counter with 10,000 scents mixed together. >trying to soak a tester strip enough to get just that fragrance to come through>no dry down>no skin sampleVersus being able to apply the fragrance as I normally would once or twice and go about my day. Smell it on my skin, throughout my day, as I would typically wear it. Get feedback from the people I’m around all day. It’s invaluable information. To the point I feel wasteful if I DONT sample like this before buying. >you can just sell a bottle you don’t like There’s a zero percent chance I’m wasting my weekend posting on some marketplace, answering questions, meeting up with someone. Etc. When I’ve gotten bottles I can’t stand before I’ve just given them away to a friend so they get some use out of them.
>>18620745Below is a very convincing formula for the original green Irish tweed. You should have no issue getting the non-ifra compliant aroma chemicals that have been prohibited or at least heavily restricted since the 1980s when this was released:Vertofix Coeur 260DHM 105Galaxolide 50% IPM 105Hedione 90Ambrox super 60Bergamot EO 50Lavender EO 40Neroli Bigarade EO 40Lyral 35Allyl Amyl Glycolate 30Methyl Ionone Gamma Coeur 30Precyclemone B 20Clary Sage EO 20Bitter Orange EO 20Coriander EO 10Veramoss 8Geranium EO 7Cistus EO 7Helional 5Methyl Octin Carbonate 3Nutmeg EO 3Bay Laurel EO 2Galbanum EO 2Triplal 2Oranger Crystals 1I’ve tried to shorten and simplify the formula as much as possible so that someone without a specialized laboratory or at least a very vast collection of molecules and naturals still has a shot of experiencing what green Irish tweed was originally meant to be
>>18621163>sinfullol
>>18621196How does hedione smell on its own?
SotD: Valentino BiR intense. Just smells like lavender and vanilla to me. If the longevity is there it would be a great signature scent. Price is kind of BS, I’m sure there’s cheaper options out there that work. Reminds me of my grandmothers house, she always liked lavender.
I knew women’s opinions on fragrances are bs when I soaked my collars and wrists in this and got complemented
>>18621169You can just put your bottle up on ebay or gift it to someone if selling is so much hassle.

I bought some travel atomizers from Santa Maria Novella. I have some splash bottles that I wanted to spray even if that means I will stop being a splashgod. They were $15 each, you could probably get similar quality for cheaper but I thought an actual brand would be more reliable. It shipped super fast. I liked that it was a bigger 15ml and the opening was wider for easy pouring. The paper box smells a little bit but not perfumy. It's hard to open the box without breaking the top flap. The sprayer has a metal bearing inside that rattles, I don't know if that is a sign of quality or not. It sprays very short and wide, very explosive. Not great for half sprays and it's not very fine. It's probably best for colognes which makes sense coming from the brand. I'll be using color stickers to match the bottle and the sprayer. I wish they had other colors and other sprayers options.
Got a 200ml of this for Christmas, did I do well?I think it smells great.
>>18621406>I think it smells great. You're doing it wrong, you're supposed to wear things that smell bad.

>>18621414Yes, I smell like rose wax, oatmeal, kimchi, aloe vera, and musk.
>>18621394DecantX has vaporizers that are usually pretty decent, never had any that are straight up bad, but a couple that aren’t as good as others. They also have like 8-10 colors in both 5 and 10 ml sizes. I’m pretty sure they just buy them from a vendor and have their brand/logo etched into the aluminum, but I can’t find a vendor that sells them in the original form so I’m stuck buying them from DecantX.
>>18621406I've always liked Versace Eau Fraiche, my only complaint is that it doesn't last very long. Bottle is awkward too.
>get a sample in the mail>it's a sauvage elixir clonehow indian of them
>Creed Oud Zarian
>>18621442You can get the unbranded ones on Amazon for like 1$ each. Amazon US, so if you’re not in burgerland it might be different. Microperfumes also sells them for like 2$ each. One of those things that are probably like a nickel each if you buy a thousand of them, but who wants to do that?
>>18621453I like the regular Explorer, and I don’t think it smells anything like Sauvage. >use our most popular brand name “Explorer”>copy the most popular scentSeems like a weird business move. Possible, but weird.
>>18621453really, is that what sauvage elixir smells like? I had a sample of explorer some months ago and really didn't like it at allnever tried sauvage elixir tho so I can't say
>>18621442I've had several duds with their 2mL decants. I'm talking like 3 to 5 out of maybe 150 though
>>18621509NoExplorer is a clone of Aventus. It would be retarded for a flanker of Explorer to switch to being a clone of a flanker the Sauvage line, it would make more sense for an Explorer flanker to clone an Aventus flanker, like Aventus Absolu, which is pretty much a chimera of Sauvage Elixir and Aventus
Recommend me something new that hot girls (15-25) will find sexyI'm getting tired of my old fragrancesMy top 3 are Creed Aventus, YSL La Nuit and Channel Egoiste but mostly I just wear Aventus desu

>>18621531Why shouldn't I?
>>18621522sooo... it smells like Sauvage Elixir?
>>18621546No. It smells like Aventus Absolu, which smells half-like Sauvage Elixir
Today I started the afternoon with the aftershave version of Ungaro PH1, at night I moved on to the EDT. The aftershave has a big stinky top note and it settles muskier. The EDT goes into more of the precious woods. Neither projects too much but the EDT certainly has a bigger body and lasts longer.
>Dior SausageWhy does Jeremy Fragrance like this? I tried it and it seems super generic, like for a 40+ guy. Is the Elixir version more interesting?
>>18621519>decants>maybe 150 thoughDo you just test eternally or do you buy full bottles?
>>18621470>who wants to do that?I do. I found one of the atomizer manufacturers for all the major brands and considered ordering one of their premium sprayers to make small atomizers. I'm certain there is a business opportunity there. Not everyone wants the same cheap chinese ones from amazon or the $100 ones from Creed. There has to be a market in the middle.
>>18621362There are a few attractive male frag ytubers, not just jeremy. fragmental, aussiemarcel, chad secrets, etc.
>>18621577I do buy full bottlesMost frags I enjoy as a curiosity instead of an investment to see if its "sognature worthy"I prefer the 2ml spray decants over the 0.7mL splash vials from Luckyscent, so here we are
German GF sending me texts making fun of her German husband. We laugh and I'm wearing Falcon Leather.
Sauvage Elixir blind buy was a success. It smells like what Paco Rabanne One Million is trying to imply. I love the licorice cinnamon combo.
>>18621581Yea maybe. Honestly I wouldn’t think your average person gives that much of a shit HOW the fragrance gets on their body as long as it’s relatively convenient. As long as it 1) doesn’t leak 2) sprays about the right amount in about the right place. But I fully accept that I may be wrong about that. I could see a business plan like:>research the shitty atomizers on Amazon, what ppl do and don’t like about them>come up with your own “design” by piecing together parts from manufacturers and order 1,000 or so>list them on Amazon, a SHOP store, etc>make some shitty YT/Tiktok shorts to get the “fragrance community” people aware of your product >????>profit
>>18621530Myslf is pretty popular with women. Boss Bottled Absolu has got me a lot of female compliments, and for 100$ a bottle it’ll last forever since 2 sprays is enough for a whole day. And Y edp as well, although that one is usually along the lines of “wow, you smell so nice and clean”. So idk if that’s what you’re going for. >how do I get women to like my cologneJust pick the most normie, popular fragrance. They’re popular for a reason.
>>18621614The design is not the challenge, there isn't a lot of space to innovate and the manufacturer can do whatever you want to spec. The big ask is to convince people to pay more for a more "premium" product that is 95% identical to what they get for pennies. The key is to find people who don't want their fancy/expensive perfumes in cheap atomizers. You need very targeted marketing. I have some ideas but I need to get in touch with the manufacturer and find out their minimum order size.
>>18621531i wear aventus ironically
Can anybody ID the cologne bottle in this pic from the Epstein files?
>>18621678Looks like L'Occitane on the right
>>18621470I can’t seem to find either. The stuff on Amazon is all… similar, but not quite the same. In other words not interchangeable with the ones I have. The Microperfumes ones -do- look the same from some of the pictures, but I can’t find anywhere on the site where they’re selling the empty vaporizers, stand alone. >>18621519Yeah honestly that sounds about right. I’ve found if I had an issue with one it’s usually because the straw is cut just the right length and it’s smashed up against the wall so it doesn’t draw the fluid up well, but I’ve had at least one that was fucked internally, somehow. Irritating in the moment but fairly reliable over all. >>18621599Same fren. Sample for the enjoyment of sampling. And fuck SuckyScent and their shitty dab vials. Literally refuse to give them business with those shitty things. >>18621634If you ever put it together toss something in here, I’d consider it.

>>18621678One of the pics show a Byredo bottle. Not sure which frag tho. I'd imagine Gypsy Water because it's their famous male leaning fragrance.
SOTD Kouros
>>18621711>I like it on my clothes rather than on skin though. Many such cases. I basically have a section that are just clothes scents. Usually clean scents or stuff that doesn't last on my skin but really pops on clothes.
>>18621678Is that a Johnson & Johnson's baby powder?
>>18621715I experimented for a bit and found out musky and clean fragrances work well on my skin that I haven't rubbed well in the shower. That's why whenever I want to wear one, for example Another 13, I just soap scrub anywhere except my wrists and neck area. Sometimes your natural musk develops the fragrance well and projects it better.
>>18621719I don't know about specific profiles like "musky and clean" but generally speaking perfume will last and project more when your skin isn't clean probably because of your body oils. Which sucks because I quite enjoy putting on fragrances after a clean shower.
I thought I'm done with frags for a while, then I end up in the morning again, looking at reviews and managing favorites in store sites. Basically gooning and edging but for purchasing fragrance. Tried 3-4 samples yesterday, some are re-tries, helps solidify a choice. Going to cop an Armani Code edp soon, it's on discount.I really should channel this autistic fixation's energy into something productive.
>>18621724
>>18621725Yea, that basically about sums it up, doesn’t it? My life is a meaningless slog… but at least I owned some stuff that was cool for awhile.
what's the point of reading or watching a scent "review" if you can't smell it?
>>18621461>rose + oud comboWhy there are so many oud frags with this combo?
>>18621809It's like the lavender + oakmoss stuff of Arabs in 500 AD
>>18621809That's a fairly traditional association in ME. They did it for centuries. And for the western market, rose + oud is safer than pure oud.Coincidentally, I just ordered a Promise decant (rose + cypriol).
