Are Palladiums like Doc Martens where they were objectively higher quality in the past, or do they fall apart because it's just the nature of it being canvas and rubber glued together?

ive had good luck with palladiums desu, the worst issue ive had with the canvas ones is the heel strap bending in and chafing.

You can get the milsurp version. It's marginally better. They weren't meant to last forever, and the new ones are just sneakers in the shape of boots. They look good, and I get compliments on mine when going around, so I'm going to keep buying them.

These are fuckin gay, just get a proper milsurp FDE jungle boot, or a pair of winter chuck taylors (since that's what they look like), they're not that much more, especially when you consider replacing a $50 pair of boots 10 times is way more expensive than buying one pair of $100-150 shoes/boots and it lasting you years.

Either do that or find a really nice pair of boots on facebook marketplace or craigslist for hundreds off.
