>spontaneously falls apart in 2 months
theyre 50 dollar boots what are you expecting?
>>18622588People here think $50 is a lot.I think a lot of them don't have jobs, or something.
>>186225882 months and one day, maybe two days.
>>18622585Just glued on shit made in some third world country. What were you expecting?
>>18622585Are Palladiums like Doc Martens where they were objectively higher quality in the past, or do they fall apart because it's just the nature of it being canvas and rubber glued together?
ive had good luck with palladiums desu, the worst issue ive had with the canvas ones is the heel strap bending in and chafing.
>>18622639It's canvas and glue made as shittily and cheaply as possible by jeets or something
so is there a better made alternative? this style of boot is basically perfect for me but it seems to be the only one made.
>>18622588$35 if you know where to look, and I love my white pair. I'm wearing it right now.
>>18622670You can get the milsurp version. It's marginally better. They weren't meant to last forever, and the new ones are just sneakers in the shape of boots. They look good, and I get compliments on mine when going around, so I'm going to keep buying them.
>>18622639from memory they were originally french issue jungle boots that became a fashion item and used to be very expensive back in the 90s. guess what's happened since then.
mine has lasted a few years by now despite wearing them as my usual pair. whats up with that?
>>18622585>>18622670These are fuckin gay, just get a proper milsurp FDE jungle boot, or a pair of winter chuck taylors (since that's what they look like), they're not that much more, especially when you consider replacing a $50 pair of boots 10 times is way more expensive than buying one pair of $100-150 shoes/boots and it lasting you years.Either do that or find a really nice pair of boots on facebook marketplace or craigslist for hundreds off.Seriously those are terrible what's so "perfect" about them?
>>18623032they look great.
>>18623032>Seriously those are terrible what's so "perfect" about them? They look cool.
>>18622585user error. I've put extensive miles on long hikes in mine and they're still going great
>>18622585ah, yes. the french and their world renowned heritage of making quality footwear. are you retarded?
>>18622585>>18622588Well damn I was hoping for converse longevity which is like 2 years in my experience. Just bought a pair of palladiums.
>>18623815They will last that long if you're not trying to treat them as anything more than boot-shaped sneakers.
