There are a couple Uniqlo U t-shirts. Do you mean the 100% cotton crew neck? Because that one's pretty good, feels durable. Not sure about the AIRism t-shirt, though.

Hi Igor, did you find a place to find your boots yet. I'm looking for plain black tshirt
>>
not a huge fan of uniqlo, their 100% cotton tees are really stiff and the sleeves are too long (and i'm 6'2"). their non-100% cotton stuff feels way too synthetic. surprisingly i found a really nice black t-shirt in GU that fits great - slightly oversize - but it's heavy and good quality, it has ribbing on the collar and along the sides though so if you're looking for a 100% plain solid black tshirt it might not be to your taste

mossimo slim fit V neckss are the GOAT tee and it's a shame they're basically impossible to find anymore. never bought one in black though sadly

Resin soaks need to be disclosed by law. They should have to twll you when 100% cotton is soaked in petrochemicals

Bottom-tier clothing for 5 bucks a pop! What a steal!

What's the deal with plain t shirts
I buy cheap ass 2 for £15 from basic shops in the UK and although they feel great at the first wear, the next time or after a wash they've lost mass and shrunk up. At this point they're nearly unwearable.

Then I see some movie character wearing a plain t shirt and it looks fantastic on him. What's the difference? Are the more expensive ones more durable and designed to look better? I thought they were all just mass produced on a factory line somewhere with pretty much the same materials.

I was about to suggest House of Blanks. I recently got 2 plain white T-shirts, one from Buck Mason and one from House of Blanks. I honestly expected the Buck Mason to be better, but I really like the fit of House of Blanks more. Buck Mason has more of a fitted style, and House of Blanks has a bit more of a looser drape which is honestly what I usually want in a T-Shirt. Plus the feel of the fabric for House of Blanks is softer.
>>
>>18625750
>House of Blanks has a bit more of a looser drape which is honestly what I usually want in a T-Shirt.
Same here. If I wanted a tight fit I would put on anything besides a tshirt.

I have 5 Uniqlo airism shirts that I wear to the gym and around town on days I don't know feel like wasting a fit on the grocery store. they get the job done, and they're dirt cheap.

maybe it's the American version cheaps out.
>>
i buy black gildan shirts from hobby lobby
>>
>>18625955
>61% cotton
Why not 100
>>
>>18626055
not that anon, but I think a cotton/synthetic blend for T-shirts can be good for work-out because adding the synthetic material helps the fabric let moisture evaporate faster than pure cotton which tends to really hold onto moisture.
>>
>>18625850
This is the answer.
>>
>>18626055
as the other anon pointed out already, the blend makes it not smell even after sweating in the gym, which is where I said I used them. plus the synthetic materials prevent it from wrinkling, preventing maintenance beyond washing, which is why I said I wear them on low effort days.
materials in your clothing aren't as simple as 100% cotton good, everything else bad. there's nuance, and reason to use both.

Canadian here, I get Gilden black shirts at Michael's. They're $10, can be cheaper with coupons and are 100% cotton. they have like 20 colours, so whenever I need a specific colour for work or a party or whatever they've got me covered.
>>
>>18626237
I fucking wish they would.
Uniqlo is good as an anon said before ITT. I've worn an airtism shirt for 5 days straight in the Philippines without smelling.

Two reasons; They are incredibly slow relative to modern machines, and the fabric is made on relatively old machines that are going extinct. When parts of the machine break, they have to either perform a makeshift fix or get it specially repaired or a new thing part custom made entirely. Obviously, this is a slow, expensive and tedious process so only a handful of repro autists in Japan can be bothered. And thank god they can.

>>18624910
Muji or T by Alexander Wang are better in terms of price:performance ratio.

>>18626371
You can't apply a blanket view on all Uniqlo tshirts. Old supima ones were perfectly soft and light without being excessively breezy or thin, while in my experience U tshirts are indeed stiff and higher weight.

Are any of these suitable cuts for a more muscular build?

I bought a bunch of Rag and Bone Flame T-shirts all black and white. They typically last around a year or two before they get ruined. Really like the texture of them though, just wish they last longer, about $80 each.

Most women do not like the plunging V-cut T-shirt on men. They much more prefer the crew neck. Women do like a V-neck layer on top of a Crew-Neck T-shirt though, think like a V-neck Cable knit sweater or something.
>>
uniqlo had them about 10 years ago. i bought every color and still wear all of them
>>

Completely incorrect. You want a slouchy beanie, the deepest v neck you can find and a cardigan.

Anything that says "non iron" is resin rinsed, a lot of 100% cotton stuff with a sheen is resin rinsed. Luxury touch polos from banana republic for example are resin rinsed. Knits that are advertised to not pill are resin rinsed and feel fucking weird.

Kohls tees

every time

But what's a good brand for muscular guys who's waist is small compared to their chest/shoulders - say 10" difference? I'm tired of wearing oversized to fit my shoulders only for it to be like a tent below my chest
>>
Naked and Famous makes loopwheel tees, they call it circular knit which is the same shit. dstld has these really nice sueded tees. Everlane also makes like higher quality uniqlo stuff and they generally fit better in my experience. If you're not into cheap basic bitch stuff, yohji has really good soft jersey and french terry tees.

It's just fucking incredible that people will spend that much for a T-shirt.

It's literally just a cotton shirt. Or it should be. That is not expensive and there is no justification for this shit, only a true retard would buy that. But fashion related stuff tends to be sold exclusively on brand value, by definition a rip off. But then on a T-shirt there isn't even any branding. It's retardcore.
>>
>>18635361
Tell me what you buy, and we'll rip you a new one like the cheapos here

>>
>>18635373
>Spending over 20$ for a cotton T-shirt
Money can't buy a functioning brain. Most people wasting money on fashion shit are poor anyways and finance with klarna or some shit. Nobody could even tell you spent that much, you would have to actually tell them at which point you look even more ridiculous.
