Go to a mall and waste the sales employees time. You are under no obligation to buy anything

I have this pair but as sunglasses. Always receive compliments on them. But when I first got them I didn't like the nose pads or how the lenses covered my eyebrows, so I got the nose pads professionally removed and the area smoothed over. Now they're perfect.

Interesting! But why didn't you just have tje nose pads moved further apart so the lenses would sit lower? So does the nose bridge now rest on your nose? As an optometrist and antique eyewear restorer I'd love to see the work.

Idk i just felt like they took up too much space and pressed down hard on my nose. They do sit on my nose bridge now but it feels and looks much better.

Anyone else dislike glasses with nose pads? They leave dents on the bridge of my nose.

Just got these. Waiting for them to make the lenses

Mine are lightweight enough that it's not a problem for me.

is buying random cheap glasses risky? i found a pair of round metal glasses that i like from some no name brand, but they are like $40. is it risky to pay for expensive lenses to put in them, or is most of the price because of marketing and it is possible to make cheap decent glasses?

1. buy sunglasses from chang on aliexpress
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3GjMSYkBQU
3. profit

sadly this doesn't really test the whole uv spectrum, just the wavelenght of your flashlight, but if it's polycarbonate should be ok

Any recommendations for frames for thick prescriptions?
My eyes are so fucked, I'm down to -8
I'm too much of a pussy for LASIK and I can't get contacts either.

I don't wear glasses but I think the ones Noah Taylor wore in Shine are strangely stylish.
>>

I have them (tho the D model).
I like it but sometimes it slips off my face cause of how light they are. They don't have much torque (least mine don't).

The store I work at has Masunaga. Absolutely incredible quality and attention to detail, both with their acetate and titanium. Their acetate is aged much longer compared to Italian acetate so they'll last a lot longer without drying out or getting those milky spots from drying out. The finest Japanese titanium also. I can highly recommend Masunaga.
