I'm new to these and always wanted a pair. They felt fine at first but walking in them was another story. The tongue area was tight so I opened the strap, but now it rubs on my fourth toe knuckle and hurts. I know they take some breaking in, but this isn't comfy. I can't tell if they're too big or too small. I should have gone to a store for $180 and tried them on and talked to the salesman. I'm going to have to send them back. Dammit, I thought I was going to love these. General Birkenstock Thread though.
And even with thick socks they still grind against that toe.
>>18634827Are those the clogs?Birkenstocks are made for wide German feet. They either fit you perfectly from the get go, or they don't.
>>18634835No, they have heels. I can't find any evidence to return them though. There's no email from the Birkenstock website and I know that's where I bought them. Hopefully there's something on the box. If I'm stuck with these things is there any hope? Can a cobbler attach something to the underside of the toe vamp? I can't be wearing some corn bandage shit every time I want to wear them. FUCK. I have wide feet. They offer "normal" and "slender". I got normal. According to foot length I should wear 11.5, but 13 is always the size that fits me best. I've even tried 12 wide and those don't work. I guess I have weird feet. I will go to my local shoe store that sell Birkenstocks and get some I know fit, if any indeed do. But I'm just sick over having to eat the cost of these. My toe still hurts hours later after wearing the things for like 2 minutes.
Yeah, the leather actually rubbed some skin off. These aren't going to work at all. Son of a bitch.
Birkenstocks either work or they do not. They're really bad for people like me with flat feet, the arch in the footbed digs into my sole and hurts the nerves under my feet. Shit sucks
Damn, those are ugly as fuck.
>>18634827For me, it's the Madrid.
>>18634827>>18634853As a 6' 2" tall athletic Dutch man with size 13 Wide feet and high arches, my "Arizona" Birkenstock sandals are easily the #1 or #2 best footwear I've ever owned. 10/10. Purchased from their German factory, worn them for more than 25 years. As you can see, I've worn them to death and I replaced them with the exact same product.
>>18635003That's great, anon. I'm really not an open-toed kind of guy though. Even though I smoke tons of weed.
Associated with dorks and dweebs im afraid. Gives morman.
>>18635176>morman???Birkenstocks are associated with hippies actually. I think 'dorks and dweebs' I think New Balance or some other running shoes with velcro.
