millenial unc here,I grew up in a time where this look was synonymous with the creepy middle aged dudes who stared at little girls a bit too much. They even called it a "pedo stache" back then. Zoomettes falling in love with it really shows there is no bad fashion, its appeal is just a matter whether it is embraced by the hot and young or worn by those considered past their prime.
this look is completely out now. it unsurprisingly is once again associated with past their prime dudes that want to cradle rob.
The internet is full of astroturfing and lies. Young girls never really found it attractive. The thing is, guys like that always have drugs on them to coerce a naive girl. The look still exists, but it’s clear when someone is chronically-online or is a wannabe influencer. I haven’t met a single young woman who actually likes the look.
