>>
>>18639980
i wear selvedge but don't cuff. i just get them hemmed
cuffing looks tacky

Single turn up cuff with sneakers and a classic straight or wide cut looks fine. Slim cut leather boot combo is hideous because the proportions are full blown retarded and carry zero drape or textural effect
>>
>>18640567
based
>>
>>18639938
this is the gayest picture ever taken
>>
>>18640567
this is how i do it. i will only cuff when i DON'T wear boots because of how bad it looks
>>
>>18639938
i wear straight leg hemmed to the length for a small, single cuff. slim/skinny selvedge with multiple rolls or tokyo cuff is gigaredditcringe
>>
>>18640598
i can just imagine a bunch of wannabe tough guys wearing 6 layers of denim pretending they've ever worked outside in their lives saying "hey, we should take a photo of us all putting our feet together to show off our cool tough guy boots" and then afterward they all sucked each other's cocks
>>
I wear mine inside out so you can see the full extent of the selvedge situation
>>
>>18640848
thats a weird thing to imagine dude
>>
>>18640850
Holy fucking based
>>
why cuff your jeans? just buy pants that fit
>>
>>18641116
A lot of selvedge jeans come in one length: too long. Then you have to either cuff or you get them hemmed.
>>
>>18639938
ID on all these boots?
>>
>>18640598
This picture was taken when they were resting after vigorous session of circlejerking each other's cocks. No cap.
>>
>>18641432
Yet many are doing some half-assed, tiny little cuff.
>>
>>18641116
Jeans with different inseam lengths is fast fashion slop. Most proper jeans brands always sold jeans in one inseam length (usually 34"). That way they could reduce losses from unsold units of unpopular inseam lengths, and keep the price down. It's a win-win for both the manufacturer and customers.

Having extra material also gives you the freedom to try different styles, like cuffing (outside or inside), stacking, or letting the hems drag on the ground and fray, to give a rugged look, especially with classic fits and bootcuts which are wider. It's mostly women that wear jeans with their exact inseam length.
>>
>>18641557
Those fags do it to show off "muh selvedge ID".
>>
>>18640213
>Nobody cares.
Then I guess I can keep cuffing my jeans.
>>
>>18641564
This board is full of porkwear fags.

Go back to r*ddit.
>>
is it the jeans or the boots that are bad
>>
>>18639938
Isn't rolling up your pant legs just for when your pants are too long and you can't get them hemmed because you lack skills or money or are a forever alone?
>>
>>18641777
The jeans mostly. They are way too slim and the big wacky cuffs makes it worse. Looks very dated and larpy
Iron Rangers are okay but they definitely have a certain look to them, but the slim jeans just makes them bad
>>
>>18641781
People have been cuffing their jeans since they were invented.
>>
>>18641781
no its to show the selvedge you baboon. People who spend $500+ on jeans can definitely afford to get them hemmed, are you slow? Or do you really think they are rolling up their cuffs on their SD001's because they are poor? Holy fuck this board.

.t straight jeans
>>
>>18641855
Looks much better, even though I would suggest never wearing iron rangers ever again. Also, you are triple cuffing here. The proportion of the cuff needs to be thicker/taller so that it balances with the larger width of the jeans. Do a double cuff instead so that the cuff slightly thickens and the proportions look a bit more natural and less tryhard
>>
>>18641895
nigger please... ur mom must've used ur head as a speed bag when u were a baby. not a fan of slim fits myself but no way those retard cuts look any better.
>>
>>18641568
Go ahead. Nobody cares.
>>
>>18641947
>cuffing on slim cuts = abomination
>balanced cuff on straight/wide cut = fine
Nobody is ever going to agree on cuffing, its purely a matter of personal preference. There is legitimate fashion theory about how slim cuts are just a sin
>>
>>18641984
Slims for guys has always been a trick to get better fades since you're constricting the fabric and forcing it to wear on specific spots. Unless you're borderline anorexic it looks absurd so a lot of guys have stopped wearing slims and instead moved to heavier denim since it constricts itself but that also comes with its own problems with how it drapes and looks in general.
