i stopped trying. i don't trust hair dressers enough to cut goof hair. i just ask for a 4 on the back and sides and a trim on the top. for maintenance i just use anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner every night, and when i shave i also shave the back of my neck. if the haircut ends up looking like shit, i use an electric razor to shave the top down to 16mm.

Avoid that unless you're using oils or one without foaming agents, washing then conditioner everyday is cool tho.

A side part. That's all you need, especially if you have straight Aryan hair. Picture related is what my hair usually looks like when I let it grow out a bit. And I don't shampoo everyday, or at all. I use regular soap to wash my hair once a week. The rest of the days I wash with plain water. Probably why I still have my hairline while most guys these days are balding from over-shampooing and using chemical slop to style their hair.
