I wear a cowboy hat nearly every day I’m off work. Everyone who farms cattle or goes to rodeos is a rich LARPer anyway, don’t let them gatekeep you.

It's some sort of felt 10-gallon hat that he's custom bashed.

Probably would've started with a flatter brim and an open crown (domed top part). He;s put some shape into the crown to flatten it (tear drop maybe) and upsweeped the brim.

Im aussie so i have the Akubra Woomera which is this style. In the US there'd be a bunch of hat makers that would do it i'm sure. You can ask them to bash it for you or get out a steamer/kettle and do it yourself.
