How should you carry your laptop in 2026? I'm stuck in 2010 when it comes to laptop bags, I can't even find good bags to buy anymore... Is pic related still approved?

one you posted is nice

I hate people that wear backpacks, they think they are so important, but I was wondering whether or not they weren't more practical. This shoulder strap keeps slipping off my shoulder and my winter jacket is too big to wrap it across my body, I was seriously considering a backpack, assuming they might be what's trendy now, too. I've only bought shoulder strap bags for the past 15 years, I feel like making a change.

So shoulder straps are still approved? I do not look like a gooner?

Grown men who wear a backpack just end up looking like IT grunts or medical representatives going door to door to doctors' offices as pharma salesmen. It's a really low status (and juvenile) look. It's also a sloppy look, because backpacks ruin your shirt and make your back all sweaty. No grown man who cares about looking put together and presentable would wear a backpack.
So yes, stick to messenger bags or get a briefcase (leather or solid case). A leather briefcase is pretty much a messenger bag anyway if you use its strap.

Fuck off, you're talking about Marvel-branded backpacks or cheap polyester shit you get from your employer, there are good-looking backpacks that aren't out-of-place. Briefcases are for larpers, I carry my laptop in either a backpack or a tote bag

WTF does this mean? The problem is in your head, seek help.

Anon is mentally ill, no one wearing a backpack thinks they’re important; that’s like saying someone wearing a belt thinks they’re so important. A backpack is such a nothing accessory; cringe at worst and meaningless at best

I fucking love seeing stuff like this online. I'm sorry Anon, I'll pick up a tote back or something next time I walk to the shop for some fruit and veg. I never meant to upset you.

Approved? Who are you seeking approval from? That's so pathetic.

>people that

You mean people *who*. And no one who wears a backpack thinks they are important. That would be some sort of briefcase with handcuffs connected to the wearer's wrist.

Kid Rock wears a fedora and he's so "based" and wants to make America great. So fedoras are back if you're one of those guys.

Go to bed, junior. You have school tomorrow. Make sure to carry your homework in your backpack.
>>
>>18649947
you are right but backpack is better for your shoulders
>>
backpacks are ergonomically superior

>>18650696
yeah I'm sure your man purse really enhances your maturity lol
>>
>>18652743
You're not going on a trek. You need your bag just to carry your things in something while commuting between your house and workplace/school. Shoulder problems should not be an issue. And you shouldn't be carrying any pointless shit anyway like a retarded hoarder that would make your bag too heavy. Only the bare necessities that you absolutely need to carry.

>>18652746
>muh man purse
For one, it's called a messenger bag that men have been carrying for centuries. It's a much cleaner and practical way for men to carry their belongings than a giant sack on their back like a toddler. And if you need to worry about ergonomics of your bag as a grown man, then you're a low status pack mule, who is also too retarded to know how to manage his load.
>>
>i NEEEEEEED a leather bag that weighs as much as my laptop to carry my laptop!

nigga you just want to larp as business man from the 70. using leather to carry modern electronics is cringe.
>>
i work at a google data canter and the only person who has a leather bag is the black 50yr old lady who dresses like amelia earhart
>>
>>18652907
It's hilarious how conformist you faggots are. Imagine using popularity as an argument to not do anything. Fashion is all about standing out, retard, not blending in among the NPCs. If that's what you want, then what are you even doing on a fashion board?
>>
>>18652906
Then get a canvas bag if leather is too heavy for your soilent shoulders.
>>
>>18649856
lol, this guy
>>
>>18652920
>use the word 'weight' in a sentence on 4chan
>someone yells at you about being weak

why do you feel like you need to take every opportunity you can to project how strong you are?
>>
If you’re dressed casually you can use a tote but if you’re dressed for work just use a good looking duffel or banker bag. The banker bag is elite.
>>
>>18652934
Retard, we're talking about bags here, which are load carrying tools. If not weight what are we going to talk about, surface tension? And you're the one who was bitching about a leather bag being too heavy. Even women don't bitch about something like that. Almost all of them carry leather handbags. So, why are you so soi?
