Western culture towers overall the other cultures and makes them feel insecure so they cope by latching onto little pieces of clothing or foods or other materialistic nothings as a way of asserting the value of their own “culture”. “Okay okay maybe whites invented clocks, and the world wears pants because of them, and we’re all using their science and laws and technology, and the automobile, and beer, and basically our entire world is blanketed with the omnipresent reality of Western culture but have you ever fallen asleep on a chair at a party?! And American corporations have been making products specifically for other countries for decades, because they want a piece of their market share. Whether it's the 100s of Japanese flavors of Kit Kat, not having pork on the menu of McDonald's or Domino's in Muslim countries, or not selling beef in India and even having Indian styled items in their menu.
