Was there any practical reason why high waist pants and jeans vanished from stores? I tried them on and they're more comfortable than any pants that I own.
They wanted to stop accentuating a mans buttock and hip, because women found it arousing, and they didn't want us to reproduce. And by they I mean devil worshipers.

It started with faggots pushing low rise skinny jeans (full of cheap plastic) in the late 2000s, and manufacturers saw an opportunity to sell less for more.And with the increasing rate of obesity during the last decade and a half, fatties started wearing low rise skinny jeans because they think tight jeans are "slimming" and will make them look thinner. That's how they became popular among the masses.

Hence, the popularity of low rise pants that only rise up to the groin below the potbelly where the circumference is much less.
Highrise pants only look good to fatties because they want to hide their gunts.
