This is a special edition of the /wt/ series for WATCHES & WONDERS 2026 next month, THE salon for luxury watches.Post your predictions and what new models you want to see!https://www.watchesandwonders.com/en/geneva-2026/eventNo shitters allowed (except Grand Seiko off course).
First rumors, Rolex is expected to relaunch the Milgauss but in new (shit) colors
>>18664054Also a two tones land-dweller
Also what will Tudor relaunch for its 100 years anniversary?
>>18664053off courseI'm watch shopping and could use some suggestions.I don't think rolex is all that interesting and i don't pine for what i can't afford. You guys are lucky you buy so many rolex. girls think sexy.
my budget is $17 btwleaning digital or anadigit
>>18664092>my budget is $17 btwCut a piece of paper and draw a watch on it
Do I get it? I've regretted not getting the limited edition Iris, now it's available in a boring monochrome version which I'm not sure yet how I feel about.
>>18664195I like Ming, how they start from scratch and not just copy the same old design elements from other brands. The bracelet on this one is what really steals the show; but not a fan of the curved lugs (art deco vibes)Also, people say it's overpriced for a 3D printed watch.
>>18664196Only the bracelet is 3D printed, no?Anyway the bracelet is damn cool but I'm not convinced what's essentially an overengineered milanese band works that well on such a chonky watch. I liked the look of the Iris on padded leather more.Looking at it again I think I just wanted the Iris.
>>18664204The dial is futuristic but the case reminds me of the Empire State Building
>>18664206That's a good thing. But it's bullshit when they make "limited edition" stuff and charge a lot for it. What if I wanted one and I don't want to pay over $500? Make more. Make one for me.But put the crown on the correct size for mine, thanks.
>>18664092aliexpress.com
>>18664280Thanks, I'll check it out!
>>18664054If this is available in 36mm and uses the land dweller movement it's a wrap.
>>18664061date day prince
>>18664301So you're finally going to purchase a Rolex then? That's amazing. That anyone here who constantly discusses these expensive timepieces is going to buy one. Can't wait for it to be spammed here daily.
>>18664053
>>18664305I have multiple luxury watches including a rolex and I've been unironically thinking about a watch with all or mostly brushed finishes as a work watch. If this is a wearable size with a good bracelet, maybe even the current explorer bracelet, it's in the running. The only strike is it doesn't have a date, but a lot of smaller field type watches don't have day or date anymore.
Im gonna spend a little more
>>18664310Spend an extra dollar on the 'two gold'. It's on sale. Lovely panda. Stylish. Form and function.
CREDOR will attend. It's over, we won.
>>18664310I'm pretty sure this exact watch was sold by MVMT
>>18664325Who are we and what did we win?
>>18664305>That anyone here who constantly discusses these expensive timepieces is going to buy one. Many people here own Rolexes, Omega, JLC but just don't post them.
Is it worth it buying Rolex from the grey market? 50-100% markup is crazy. I just want a GMT you fucking asshole dealers
>>18664644Which GMT specifically? If you want a batman or bruce wayne your chances are probably pretty good. If you want a pepsi and have no intention of getting any other rolex you're probably just fucked, either the ADs will laugh at you behind your back and give you nothing or the grey dealers will fuck you with no lube.
>>18664361The Credor gang of course.
>>18664361A bunch of overpriced oversized seiko dress watches.
We won bros
>>18664823If this is what victory looks like, the living truly envy the dead.
>>18664823I would say it's nice erebus homage but it's not. It's shit. Shit with a casio-tier hour markers.
>>18664644first gen batman is near msrp isn't it? I do like the black/grey dial ones.
Posting Mort's collection to pay respects.
>>18665001Price estimate?
I miss omega drunk bros.. But the omegle episode really fucked him up. Be careful and sober out there people.
>>18665001I like how he also posted his clocks.
>>18665001>>18665003>>18665029You are such a colossal fucking faggot, dude. Every single day with the >I MISS THESE GONECELS SO MUCH!! WAAAAHHH!!Get it together. There's no fucking way anyone ever posted regularly here and was respected and not fucked with. I'm sure he left because he was harassed by cunts.
>>18665001Probably about a quarter mil, all told. 300k max. Most of those pieces are neat but worthless. The Journe itself is half the value of the collection.
Never trust a man (faggot) who places his watch on the right wrist.
>>18665001Most epic collection /thread
>>18665001Did he die or something?
>>18665132He left us and hasn't come back, like others. I miss Omegadrunk too.
I, too, miss Omega Chad..We didn't even get a kofe post today bros..
>>18665075Actually he was mostly pretty respected outside of one generational autist, and it was because he did everything the right way and behaved the exact opposite way of the modern avatarfags - He had a wide collection of a lot of different watches but he was humble about it and didn't constantly post them as a signature or for attention and didn't spam posts of multiple paragraphs every day trying to convince everyone his watches were the best thing ever. As far as I know he never took a wristshot at dinner and blogged about how his day was going, or made a paid whore stack his watches on her body for a picture.
>>18665139>or made a paid whore stack his watches on her body for a picture.Huge missed opportunity right there
>>18665139>didn't constantly post them as a signatureYou’re right about everything but this. He definitely used his limited set of pics as signatures. He never updated them either.>take some better pics of your watches please.>No, it’s the same watch, so I’ll just use the same pic.
>>18665086They're not "worthless," It's just not a pile of hype pieces. It's a genuine collection of a lot of different stuff that he likes - have you seen so many bullhead chronographs in one collection before? A lot of men with his money and ability build a collection as if they saw a magazine article about the top 10 hypest watches and just went down the list buying them all, and they end up with a collection that's like 7 rolexes and 3 pateks and a speedmaster. He has a lot of stuff at every price level and his passion even goes into pocket watches and desk clocks. He's the kind of guy that genuinely likes watches, buys watches because he likes them, and doesn't care what you think about them.
>>18665142But he was TALKING about the watch, that's the thing. He wouldn't just post the watch for no reason.
>>18665143Ok, not “worthless”. Poor choice of wording. They do not have very much resale value, less than a few hundred dollars. I was responding to anon who was asking about the value of the collection. The overall collection is worth quite a bit, but the majority of the value is limited to a few pieces in the front row.
>>18665144Yes he was. You don’t remember when he would post My_Breguet.jpeg with just “Sup?”
>>18664053>No shitters allowed (except Grand Seiko off course). How about on course? Can i post a regular old Seiko? It's really nice, almost a Grand Seiko, i promise.
>>18665144Bullshit. He’d be talking about a completely different watch and would use one of his pics to make sure we knew it was him answering.
>>18664054How fucking boring can you be, Rolex
>>18665149Was it because someone was asking for his opinion or something? Sometimes posters would directly address him about something, lending credence to the idea that he was respected and some people cared what he thought about stuff.
>>18665152No, not always. He just liked using his pics as signatures. He even got a ban for it once back when we had moderation.
>>18665150That’s not a real model. That’s a render of what some journalist thought Rolex might make.
>>18664669>>18664992Unfortunately I want the Pepsi. Anywhere from 50-100% above retail. I can wait though I’m sure it’ll go down eventually. Who knows maybe they’ll release better shades of blue for the bezel later on and get rid of the polished center links.
What are some good rules to follow so your watch doesn't clash with your outfit?
>>18665001Where's his Eichi II?
autism.
>>18665189He didn’t have one.
>>18665189I have a better question. It it was so fuckin smart, why did they have to make a second version?
Avra time.
Bros... we won! and everyone knows it!
>>18665266Won what?
>>18665135>>18665138Fuck off. There's no evidence any of these "people" ever existed. You're just making it up. There's no history here.
>>18665143>He's the kind of guy that genuinely likes watches, buys watches because he likes them, and doesn't care what you think about them. There are people here doing that. But it doesn't count if 80% are from China apparently. Fucking hypocritical faggots.
>>18665148There are no actual rules. Post whatever you want. If fact, post what they don't want just to piss them off.
>>18665275Based bad faith retard.
>>18665276That's because China only makes shitters. Swiss and german are the only good watchmakers brands. (Fuck gay sexko)
Anyone has all gold watches here?
>>18665354So you only own Swiss and German watches then? You must. Because Japan sucks and anything made in America sucks. China obviously. Even their parts are shit, so that disqualifies a whole lot of international watchmakers right there. Just Germany and Switzerland make good watches. That's a good rule to go by. Thanks for establishing that. I'm sure we'll have a lot less traffic now, but it's quality we're going for, not quantity.
>>18665196I'm quite sure he did have one, i remember him talking about meeting the guy who did the dial.
Have a nice day frens!
>>18664823>>18665266what's with seiko/credor constantly having interesting dials on cheap looking cases/bracelets
>>18665203A U R A

I don't mind contemporary credor but I really like their Phoenix-era sport watches.
>>18665274Won watches and wonders
>>18665593What is our prize?
>>18665593That thing is fucking hideous. I'm sorry. I can appreciate some of it, but it's too busy and silly with the blue diamond bezel and waves and birds.>>18664053Does Julia Roberts own a watch store or something? The actress?

Casio is gatekeeping the very based 38.5mm version of the Duro for international markets only
>>18665767>for international markets onlyAren't that all the markets?
>>18665767That model was largely shit on due to no screw-down crown and 50M of water resist.
>>18665768Casio intl site a.k.a. not USA, not on the US site. And all the ebay sellers are Japan or Korea.>>18665770Fair but i would still wear one.
>>18665771>Casio international>not for USAre Casio suggesting that the US is not a nation?
>>18665772Are you brand new to the internet, its not rare to see brands with a US site and "international" or "global" site. We burgers just shop the most.
can't believe this thread hasn't even officially started yet. Where is he?
>The world is divided into two categories, US, and "international".>Doesn't understand many other countries/regions have their own casio sites.>Doesn't understand Casio is from Japan. It doesn't surprise me that the youth literacy rate in America is lower than in Iran, lolIn any case, I don't like the hour hand, I wish it didn't have the arrow on it.
>>18665791bro 4th graders in the US literally can't read anything longer than 2 sentences. It's beyond over. 80% don't know the difference between your and you're.
>>18665791>Things I didn't say or implyWhen you're done pretending to be able to read do you mind reconciling the fact that the watch appears on the /intl/ casio site but not the /us/ casio site and admitting that my initial premise as actually completely true and that you are a pedantic retard
kek what have i done
Is it a cringe take to say I find tachymeters really ugly? Got any watches that will maybe change my mind?
>>18665875They are ugly. Get a speedmaster with a decimal or telemeter (km) bezel. Then you have symmetry and a bezel that is more useful than the tachymeter (which is useless).
After a week of wearing it i am happy to report that my Weekdater is very accurate, being just 5s behind.
I sold my last Patek, a 5196g. I was sad to see it go but I never wore it and, to be honest, the silver on silver dial and hands were difficult to read.I made 6,500 USD in the bargain, though.I’m not sure what I should get. I don’t think a collection is complete without a Patek, and the classic 80’s banker’s watch 3919 calls to me but I worry that it would be too small at 33.5mmDoes anyone have experience with the 3919?
Tachs are only useless if the wearer is useless. Don't wear a chronograph unless you have the lifestyle. Go buy a PRX
>>18666139Seiko Alpinist
>>18665623Everything>>18665638You'll come around
>>18666139I feel you, brother. I sympathize completely with your plight because I've been there myself. Patekless for a bit. I felt NAKED without a Patek in my collection. How do people even get by without one?I've had my share of 3919s of course, as any collector worth his salt has. My advice is to get it serviced six months before suggested. Other than that it runs like a dream. And it runs like a dream because of that tip I just gave you. I find the 3919 is really more of an everyday wear than the style would suggest. Of course, when you buy and sell little men all day long you really wear what you want, am I right? Heh heh. Life is good.
>>18665919What exactly are you using a telemeter for?
>>18666172Yes, a lot of work went into that. I still don't appreciate it nor would I be caught dead wearing it.
>>18666211>What exactly are you using a telemeter for?Exactly what it's made for.
>>18666211To measure teles.
>>18666191>Current balance: $86,345.75
If a watch costs more than a car thats not a complete shitbox thats where I draw the line
>>18666308they sell brand new shitboxes for $40k these days though
There are really people who look at all the $40k+ watches and choose to buy a Pajeet Filthippe or a lolex instead of an Adolph Lange.
I saw picrel at a local store today. It really stand out for me with those red numerals. It's an 2000/2010 female model but no one is gonna check my bussy for this. Also it's old but it's a japanese owned watch.Cop or not?
>>18666331the size is 39mm btw
>>18666331It's OK. Quite unique. That's the lug width?
>>18666333What is the lug width*
>>18666331i just saw a similar speedy reduced on rwatchexchange. extremely cool watch. the internet is weird about the speedmaster reduced but i think its great. you literally cannot go wrong with the speedy unless you somehow massively overpay
>>18666333The lug width is 18mmThe model number 3534.79.00>>18666335Yeah this one looks cool too, probably a "female" model as well but it just means that they have the dimensions of the reduced.
>>18666335>>18666331Even a random speedmaster like these completely mogs every daytona that has ever existed. It's a better design, and it came before the daytona too. I think the reason people might shit on the reduced sizes is because the L2L distance of a speedmaster is only 47mm, which is wearable for wristlets. The 38.5mm Lange 1 also has a 47mm L2L distance. It's an incredibly wearable watch and it doesn't really *need* to be reduced unless you're an actual woman with micro-wrists.
>>18666331It's cool. Nobody knows what it is, so nobody will know it's not supposed to be cool, so they'll think it's cool too.
>>18666301Why that could be 7 or 8 Pateks.
>>18666353Reminder that no one but you will ever give a fuck about your watch.
>>18666339>Even a random speedmaster like these completely mogs every daytona that has ever existed. This is the funniest Omegay cope. The Speedmaster and the Daytona haven’t been in the same class for decades. For that matter, Omega and Rolex have not really been competitors since they he early 00’s at the latest. Omega is a Tudor competitor.
>>18666367Which of them do you actually own?
>>18666369Both. I have a pair of Rolexes. I still have an Omega that I would never get rid of for sentimental reasons. To be honest, though, neither brand is the backbone of my collection. They’re both quite boring compared to other brands out there.
What's a good beginner watch thats not a show-off?
>>18666374Brosnan-Bond era Seamaster Professional. They’re common enough and cheap enough to where no one would think they’re unreasonably expensive but they’re still very good watches.
>>18666295> Exactly what it's made for.Timing artillery barrages?
>>18666331>check my bussyI hate this fucking website.
>>18666376Fuck you. That was a sincere question and of course you drop some multi thousand dollar fancy shit on him. BEGINNER WATCH
>>18666385I only have Casio but I find them too boring and clinical
>>18666385That is a beginner watch. Calm down.
>>18666385I gave you a sincere answer. You didn’t specify a dollar amount.
>>18666386There's a huge "happy medium" between Casio and Speedmaster which would probably contain more helpful suggestions. >>18666388You'd like everyone to think that you really feel that way. That you naturally just came of age in a lifestyle where you get a new Speedmaster for your 16th birthday. A beater really. Just to wet your whistle for the high horology to come. What a fucking poser. lol
>>18666389All these rich guys posting to 4chan on a Monday morning. As fucking if.
>>18666390Why are you so angry? There have always been wealthy people in this thread. We have the sub-500 dollar watch thread for your purposes.
>>18666392I live in an undeveloped nation and I'm poor. I don't belong in a thread filled with wonders. Mine should have a dirt floor. Here we just rub sticks together to tell the time.
Coffee time.
>>18666429That's actually a new photo. And a watch I haven't seen plastered here dozens of times.Everyone take note. This is how it's done.
>>18664054My favorite Rolex I hope it still has the green sapphire
>>18666374I like my formex reef it’s about as good as it gets before you start getting diminishing returns on price. I have an essence too which is nice but the reef is my favorite
>>18666374
>>18666374What is a beginner’s watch?Do you need help with reading the big hand and little hand?A watch is a watch. There’s no “beginner level”. >oh, buddy watch out! That’s a JLC. Those aren’t beginner watches. You’ll break your wrist if you try to tell time on one before you’re ready! The idea of a beginner watch is predicated on the idiotic idea of a watch journey. Like, you have to start with cheap shitters before you get to buy medium-priced shitters and then FINALLY you’ll be ALLOWED to buy the watch you want. Fuck that. What’s your budget and what style of watch do you like? That’s all that’s important.
>>18666448Nope. Too expensive.
>>18666367Typical lolex owner cope. You judge watches based on the "sOciAL iMpLiCaTiOnS" of the brand rather than the watch itself. lolex isn't lolex because the brand is represented by zendeya, it's lolex because the watch you get keeps time like piss despite having an overcoil hairspring, there are 50 billion variants diluting each model as if it's Hublot, the cases and bracelets are chunky, unfinished slabs, and there's ZERO historical significance outside of the GMT Master II.Most lolex models get mogged by Cartier, for God's sake.
>>18666381Close. Calculating the distance from impacts.
>>18666470You should throw those grapes out. They’re far too sour.
>>18666470rent fucking free lmfao
>>18666473>>18666474Nice deflection. It's impossible for an informed consumer to spend five digits on a watch and come home with a rolex. You'd have to be a normalfaggot to end up with one.pic very much relatedfeel free to actually address the watches themselves if you actually have any interest in horology.
>>18666477You should calculate what percentage of your life you’ve wasted on hating a watch company.Imagine if you’d taken that time and gone to the gym or made friends. Then you wouldn’t be here polluting a watch thread with your venom.
>>18666479Again, it's not the company. It's the watches themselves. There are rolex models I like, they're just not in production anymore and I don't care for buying used beaters.Contrary to your own interests, I actually really like watches and learning about the technology and history behind them. Besides my wedding band it's the only jewelry I ever wear, and my family has a lot of "watch guys" too. Like many things on this website, what you perceive as hatred is actually just a love of something wonderful, which makes inferior options even less desirable. Again, please feel free to address some of the mechanical and design pros/cons of lolex in this WATCH THREAD.
New thorm just dropped
>>18666485>ad hominem attacks>appeals to authority > straw manning >antisemitismOk, so you’ve got nothing. I accept your concession.
>>18666479It’s really just a form of oppositional defiant disorder. A thing gets popular, so some posters decide to make hating the popular thing their personality. The vast majority of posters don’t think about Rolex as much as the Rolex haters in this thread. He’ll, even Rolex owners don’t think about Rolex as much as the Rolex haters. They’ll always try and cloak it in something self-righteous and noble but mostly they’re just lonely. No one wants to be around someone who’s miserable and bitchy all the time. It’s exhausting.
>>18666500hahahahaha kike detected. My dear rabbi, I brought up specific aspects of the design and movement I take issue with. >>18666485>Again, please feel free to address some of the mechanical and design pros/cons of lolex in this WATCH THREAD.Why? You’re not arguing in good faith. You’re just here to waste everyone’s time.

>>18666528Speaking of watches everyone hates, here’s mine.
>>18666531Why does everyone hate this one?
>>18666546Panerai is just a really hateable brand. They do a ton of things wrong, more bad than good if we’re being honest; and even when they do well the product is incredibly polarizing, but every now and then they come out with a really good watch.
>>18666549>but every now and then they come out with a really good watch.LMFAO fucking retard
>>18666558Enjoy your Casio.
>>18666558Hi Bittercel. Still doing the old bare wrists thing?
>>18666531Based dot dial 233. A coworker of mine wore one. The huge domed sapphire is crazy.
>>18666531Ref no.? The Panerai GMTs I find on C24 have AM/PM text in the subdial.I generally dislike Panerai but with the power reserve and GMT hand I think this looks like a great tool watch.Whats the lug-to-lug distance?
>>18666575It’s a PAM00233 referred to as the “dot dial” variant since they used that instead of the AM/PM hand. It’s a much cleaner look. They made them in 2006 and 2007 (I and J serial numbers) with the dot dial and then switched to the AM/PM after that. It’s god a 52mm lug-to-lug so not insane for a 44mm watch but it’s very thick due to the hugely domed crystal. It was designed to be huge.
>>18666585It's the first Panerai I like in terms of dial design and features (the size is an atrocity though, but I get that's their thing). Thanks for sharing anon, I learned something new today. (I also like manual wind watches).
>>18666531It's not a bad watch, you just have to be the right kond of guy to wear it. To me Panerai never seemed like a luxiry watch, but more like an expensive but stylish quintessentially Italian fashion accessory.
>>18666593>you just have to be the right kond of guy to wear it.This. I think part of their problem was that, at the height of their popularity, too many guys tried wearing them who had no business wearing them. Short guys, small wrists, introverts, and so forth. Panerai started catering to those kinds of buyers.
>>18666597I know i jave no business wearing divers, I'm too skinny and they're not my style anyway. But i get that and stay in my lane, plenty people don't and it's hilarious to see. Smartwatches were funny as well, most of them was way too big and yet everybody wore them.
