24M here who is suspecting my left temple is thinning (right temple is fully norwood 1). What medication should I use? Nutrafol or viviscal? What are the pros and cons of each?

Finasteride/Dutasteride and Minoxidil work but the side effects can be nasty so you might want to try some combination if the following first:> Microneedle (might not help much but will help some and no downside really so just do it)> Red Light Laser Therapy Cap (same)> Ketoconazole (might not work and could frizz your hair)> Tretinoin (helps for some, not for most, skin sides possible)There’s some other suggestions that topical treatments like caffeine, melatonin and other antioxidants, cetirizine, azaleic acid, latanoprost and other serums work but I’ve not seen any clinical data on those. I would start with the microneedle and lasers and see if that helps. If it’s not enough maybe move onto the ketoconazole. If that’s not enough try tretinoin and the other things. I would just pull out all the stops before you hop on finasteride or minoxidil. Probably they’d work and you’d be fine but you never know.
