Last week, I saw a 35-45 years old dressed like this, with the light denim carpenters and a whole palewave color palette, i physically cringed.

He was dressed like a 15 years old Zomette pretty much, while also having a gutt, a grey beard and some kind of fade.
Please don't do this, this is the look of the Millenial midlife crisis.

>>
Gf and pretty much everyone else likes my style and I wear a lot of that stuff. You just have to look physically good like the guy that you posted and you're envious of.
>>
>>18665965
It doesn't look good on Danny Simmons, it looks creepy.
The face is 40+ years old and bogged, the fit is 17-20 years old.
I can't imagine him hanging around normal people his age. Like are you trying to date your co-worker's daughter or what? Are you roaming around universities dressed like this?
>>
>>18665972
>>18665974
>creepy
Holy shit, a genuine zoomer. While you're here, can you tell me why you all talk like negroes or valley girls regardless of where you're from?
>>
>>18665970
>It's based and gets you laid. I would dress like this even with 50 years old.
It gets you laid with whom? As a 50 years old who will you fuck dressed like this? Any woman over 25 would not like this.

>>18665974
Black don't count, they are not expected to be normal contributing members of society.
>>
>>18665954
Did he steal your boyfriend, why the seethe?

You answered your own question.

A millenial invented palewave in 2013 right here on this very board when we still had some swag, show some fucking respect

Trully the greatest contribution of millenials to humanity.

Why would you want to impress women over 25?
>>
>>18665954
Don't understand the obsession with tan + light blue
It's nothing new in fact this is the most stereotypical cheugy color scheme of the 2000s with UGGs and all that but it was ugly then and it's ugly now

Do zoomers find the modern, zoomette pants (baggy, hi-water, mom jeans) attractive and /fa/? Asking as an oldster.
>>
I dress mostly like this cause it fits my body way better than the slim fit shit of the 2010s. And I refuse to dress like a dadcore wasp just because some anonymous chud masturbates to a bygone era.
>>
>>18666054
The only thing wrong with carpenter jeans is the cringe hammer loop. Carp jeans and cargo pants, a la Y2K were great for storing cellphones in the side pockets. Ofc, when pocket pants went out of /fa/, giant, ridiculously-oversized cellphones came back IN to /fa/, and now you have no place practical to store them.
>>
>>18666039
Switch sides and join the Bootcut faction.
>>
>>18666054
This fit is not for you, daddy-o. It's a fit for when you're young and juicy.
Be aware that a 30 year old wearing those light wash carpenter denim gives totally the same vibes to this generation than picrel did to you.

daniel simmons fashion-mogs all of you retarded zoomers. he's the main reason why y'all are wearing wide leg trousers nowadays, acting as if you came up with it lmao. you low-t faggots are only regurgitating old millennials' style from back in the 2000s.
>>
>>18665954
That is what millennials and GenX used to dress like in the 90s and 2000s, you retarded cum guzzling zoomer. You didn't invent that style. You retards are simply aping it and trying to appropriate it because you have nothing of your own. Zoomer fashion is literally called Y2K for a reason.
>>
>>18666033
Not everything needs to be the best thing since sliced bread, sweatie. People wear that combination because it looks good.

LOL nice try. It's because you ripoff fashion from the late 90s to mid 2000s because it's all part of the nostalgia baiting that's been going on since like 2015. You long for a time before you when things were much better. So you try to create that "muh aesthetic" to feel what it was like to live in that era, and I don't blame you. The past decade has been absolute shit in everything. Whether it's fashion, movies, TV shows, music, video games, or even the internet. Everything has been spiraling deeper and deeper into shit.

I'm 39 and I just dress the same way I did in high school. Baggy jeans / khakis, AF1s or Timberlands. New Era fitted, always tilted to the side. Baggy white tee. Phat Farm, Roca Wear, Ecko hoodies. Always color match the hat and hoodie. Avirex leather jacket in the winter. Sean Jean polos and baby blue velour tracksuits with the ice out if I'm going somewhere formal.
>>
>>18666584
>18-22
LMAO it's purely 25-THIRTY zoomie uncs trying to act like they aren't old. Bitches. At that age I had a wife, kid, and house. Y'all need to move on and stop being the creepy dude pretending you're still in college.
>>18666747
Basically every generation dresses like they did in high school. The typical boomer office drone fit is pure teenage boomer core.

Kek. Lmao even.
>>
>>18666773
Teenage boomers dressed like this in the 70s. The boomer office fit exists because they had enough shame to dress in a respectful, respectable and dignified way while working. It's GenX who started casualizing the workplace by loosening the dress code, and millennials got rid of it completely in the late 2000s and 2010s. Hence why every grown ass man today dresses like a manchild because nothing and nobody requires him to look presentable anymore.
>>
>>18665954
This reads like the bad advice 40 year old spinsters tell 18 year old girls

What are you trying to say?
>>
>>
>>18665954

>>
>>18666841
You are not looking presentable, you're looking like a nerd.
>>
>>18666977
This. The pointdexte of the 50s and onward was always the “classy” fedora-tier of that era. Faggots keep trying to make geek look chic or LARP as the 40s.
>>
>>18666842
You just described this board. Menswear is not sexy to anyone under 30 unless you look like an anime guy.
>>
>>18666977
>nerd bad
More nigger brained stupidity. Degenerates like you wouldn't know what looking presentable is anyway.
>>
>>18666977
nobody in that picture looks like a nerd though?
>>
>>18667123
Morons on this website (most of whom are black and brown) are so degenerate that they think the people in that picture are dressed in a trad way. If you're not wearing sweatpants or shorts, it's too dressy for them.
>>
>>18667121
Looking like a nerd was never acceptable, even in the last century. It was embarrassing.
>>
>>18666773
>Basically every generation dresses like they did in high school.
i was a scene kid lol I wish I could still lmfao
>At that age I had a wife, kid, and house.
why are you posting here
>>
>>18665961
What students dress like this?
>>
>>18667212
Yeah, where does/did anon go to uni? Even at Oxford that would be considered overdressed. That style always read 30-50 for me anyway. It looks too grown up for young people to pull off without looking autistic
>>
>>18667168
For one, what's "nerd" for you was standard for everyone, even in the last century. And hating "nerds" is American niggerbrained bullshit, and mostly because of (((hollywood))) movies. The rest of the world never cared about that American niggery.

Picrel is what the "cool kids" and chads during the 50s to 90s dressed like, but modern day negrified degenerates will call them "nerds" because they're not wearing sweatpants and have their shirt tucked.
>>
>>18667555
That's not overdressed. He's dressed more like a faggot. No straight guy ever dressed like that.
>>
>>18667563
I mean, they do if their gf makes them 'dress more stylish'. This would still be considered dressing up, i.e. some event that's still casual but you want to look good
>>
>>18667567
Just because it's a buttoned shirt and trousers doesn't automatically make it dressed up. That's "dressy" only according to modern negrified society. He looks more like he's wearing women's clothes. The way zoomers wear baggy clothes is really gay and effeminate. The 90s and 2000s baggy style they're copying was nothing like this.
>>
>>18667590
Anything more than a t-shirt is considered overdressed by people these days. A lot of white ‘collar’ jobs are done in jeans and t-shirts.

I don’t think the Daniel Simmons fits look feminine at all. He’s got a muscular physique which means clothes hang on you differently. Wide leg pants work best on muscular legs otherwise it looks sexcore
>>18667590 this looks like virgincore
>>
>>18667688
His clothes are so baggy that nobody can tell he's muscular. He looks like a scrawny woman under that pile of clothes. The faggy effeminate pose doesn't help either. That's why fatties wear baggy clothes in the first place, because they break up their body's contours and give their body whatever silhouette their outfit has.
>>
>>18665972
yea i do. youre about to be sent to war for isreal and im going to fuck all the women your age while youre there
>>
>>18666129
I'm 35 and dress fairly close; I went from a 36 to 31 waist in recent years and needed a new wardrobe. So I had to buy clothes that the few people that aren't fat wear:
>Zoomers
>Rich people that play golf or tennis
>Tech or finance bros
>Workwear
I don't have the zoomer mc hammer pants but I do have lots of dickies pants as I have an outlet nearby. Idk if zoomers have discovered those yet
>>
>>18667947
Dickies were big at least on the west coast in like 2016 especially in skateboarding. Maybe they’ll come back around
>>
>>18667172
>you can't like fashion if youre more accomplished or older than me, some fag on the internet
Go for a lap and some fresh air
>>
>>18668067
I could see alphies / iPad Zoomers, whatever you want to call the latest zoomers, digging up Dickies b/c they seem to like skateboarding clothes. I wear them for ice skating, errands etc. and I don't really see many wearing dickies outside of work uniforms.
>>
>>18668149
What are you talking about. Millennials are peak graphic tshirt/cargo shorts wearing retards.
>>
>>18668067
>>18668194

>>

I meant 874s specifically
>>
>>18668463
>>18668500
I was also referring to 874s. Here in flyover unc they wear mall jeans or sweatpants.
>>
>>18668319
He’s shitposting, but he’s right. Millennials have been posting this “I wanna talk about philosophy at a coffee shop” look for over a decade. “Classy” classic clothing is for introverts.
>>
>>18665961
>student
This looks mode like a tourist outfit actually.
>>
>>18668776
He does look like a faggy cosplaying tourist on a vacation in Italy or something.
>>
I'm an in shape unc. How should I dress?
>>
>>18668953
Basic but quality

Like navy jumper + jeans + (made in the UK) new balance, but in high quality

+ a bracelet your 4 year old daughter (or niece) made for you.
>>
>>18666118
The difference being that the clotges you're trying so hard (and failing) to gatekeep are the clothes middleaged working class dads have been wearing daily for decades. Emodad was aping an aesthetic that was actually invented by a generation younger than himself.
In short, you cannot claim middleaged workwear for yourself. Come up with your own thing.
>>
>>18669288
>the clothes middleaged working class dads have been wearing daily for decades
That's fashion revisionism.
Some uncs now pretend that they have been wearing large jeans since 1995 and totally disregard the 20 years they have been wearing slim fits.
>>
>>18665961
>I'm here for the Wes Anderson marathon

Hmm thanks, that is essentially how I dress at the moment. At the moment I'm wearing a Zara knit jumper, Next jeans and Adidas handball spezials. I guess zara/next aren't quality
>>

Zara and Adidas are for poors. Of course they aren’t quality, ya beanbag.

>>

How are adidas more poorfag than new balance?
>>
>>18668533
I’m in Cali about 10 minutes drive from the beach and the only people still wearing 874s here are the cholo Mexican kids and the occasional skater. Every other young person is wearing baggy or loose fit TikTok jeans
>>
>>18669407
>quality
>essentially how I dress
>cite shit fast fashion brands

kek

What i mean by quality, for jeans it would be A.P.C and up.
For jumpers maybe Brooks Brothers or something.
>>
>>18669541
It looks like 874s are poised for a comeback as Dickies was recently taken private by a company that tries to rez old brands. It appears they're trying to solve the issue of somewhat limited local availability. I wanted to buy stock lol. You'd think 874s would be a zoomer uniform but I guess you actually have to skate or be Mexican to wear them still. Zoomies seem intrigued when I wear 874s or the "genuine dickies" Walmart edition.
>>
>>18665954
I used to dress like that when I was a teenager in 2002.
>>
>>18670039
You were ahead of the game back then. Most people who wore baggy back then bought ugly shit from Mervyn’s. Every kid and teen had a tee with some kind of flame decal on it.

>>

Why do zoomer jeans always look so cheap and flimsy? They have no structure whatsoever. They're like half the weight of real "Y2K" baggy jeans worn by people in the early 2000s. What are they like 6oz?
>>
>>18670487
Because they are cheap and flimsy. quality of clothing took a massive dip in mid 2000s and continued to drop to this day. The 80 dollar jeans of then would be $300+ for the same quality.

makes sense
>>
>>18670487
Because they buy them from shein or primark. Paperthin fabrics which get trashed after three washes. Zoomers don't care because they got them for cheap and by the time they need a new pair there's another trend to chase. Zoomers are consumers and don't cate about stuff that lasts because they're chasing new things on the reg.
Also generally speaking, things have gotten way worse in recent years. Just the other day I was checking a levis denim jacket at a store and it was way thinner and flimsier than the one I bought about fifteen years ago. Even the stuff I got from inditext brands in the early 00's held up better than anything I've bought in the past ten years from supposedly better brands.
>>
>>18666576
every generation does this. the whole Scene fad was millennials adopting the 80s hair metal/new wave look, Gen X was obsessed with the 70s/hippie aesthetic and briefly revived bellbottoms and long hair as a result.

>>

I think a good half of Millenials have that mental illness to think that they look younger.
>>
>>18670263
I'm 35 and have that actor or clothes model look, and for whatever reason I constantly dress and style myself differently. If my hair is grown out, I dress more 70's. I could look 80's, 90's, 00's, 60's. Or different social classes, like a neet, blue collar, or finance bro. Or a professional figure skater at a high profile televised event (was a volunteer, but looked like an athlete (I do skate tho) so everyone was like: come thru dawg!) Idk why I do this lol

im 36 and just wearing all my old skate shirts from 1999. and with all my old dickie cargos.

so glad i didnt listen to /fa/ in 2010 to get rid of them...
