how do you stay /fa/ past your 20s when your life is busy? I took the fit pill at 30 and I primarily just wear workout clothes since having a nice body became the real fit. But I feel underdressed around fashionable people especially with the changing trends.
I feel like fashion is a youngster's hobby because you have free time to spend you day mix and matching different peices, staying on top of different trends, and spending countless hours shopping for items

Yeah. Chasing trends is for kids. Just embrace being an adult man and dress like one in the timeless classics. Chinos, polos, button-downs, knit sweaters. All of them well-fitting to accentuate how jacked you are. Or. Do what the other guy said and dress cowboy.

if you have enough money just buy the buck mason, todd snyder, rag and bone, or banana republic catalog and literally just copy their fits.

yes quality/price and fit and finish isn't going to be as good as some autistic bespoke available-for-store-pickup-from-merzb-schwannen mr porter japanese workwear nepenthes iron heart whatever theyre doing these days but those people are all homosexuals

>primarily just wear workout clothes
this is really really really bad, anything you do will be better than this

You'll never look good unless you stop looking down on putting effort into looking put together. I can tell from you saying things like:
> don't have time to play dress-up
> I feel like fashion is a youngster's hobby [...]
I've seen plenty of (probably busy) middle-aged gentlemen on the streets of Italy that were dripped to the teeth. But that's because it's part of the culture that they think about the fact that when you leave the house, other people will be looking at you, so you wanna look good. But they don't look down on clothes, they're interested in looking good, they *want* to spend money on clothes.

Looking good is the process of buying clothes that look like shit only so you can buy new clothes 3 months later than also look like shit, after which you maybe buy something decent. You can't call putting effort into dressing "dress-up" then say you feel underdressed around fashionable people. You think it's a chore to them? No man they enjoy it.

If you're such a "no bullshit tough man's man with no time for girly clothes" here's a car guy talking about clothes big boy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU-Eya4ZoYU maybe it will resonate

It's called testosterone. Something modern "men" sorely lack.

That's the pill I took, obviously not as over the top as the one the other anon posted though. Just flannels or pearl snaps, decent jeans, and subtle cowboy boots, and either a rednecky ballcap or a cowboy hat when appropriate (outdoor work, hiking, county fair, etc.) . People seem to respond pretty well to it.

Xylitol gum after eating anything, floss and brush your teeth always before sleep. Tongue scraper is also a great tool for bad breath, don't use alcohol based mouth wash, avoid nearly any mouth wash actually, its about eliminating food in your mouth to prevent bad bacteria from eating your teeth.

Schedule a gum and teeth clean with your dentist once per year, there's stuff you can't clean.

I was at my local pub couple weekends ago. Trying to hit on chicks. Like usual. And there were these two blokes also there. In cowboy hats and western shirts and boots. Out of place, because this is in the suburbs. Not country. Maybe they happened to be there for a reason. I don't know. But, they were doing so well. Every pretty girl in the place was flirting with them. And I was just thinking, dang I need to buy a cowboy hat.

you're comparing an american that works nonstop to a lazy italian that has a small body, access to cheap designer luxury clothes, walkable cities, no muscle, and tons of free time

I don't look down on clothes but I can't fathom how a busy adult actually has time to browse tons of catalogs, blow money on a bunch of different clothes on a constant basis, and play dress up in the mirror for hours while still having leftover time and money to do things in life

thats why i feel like the only people who have the time and money to get into fashion are kids, rich people, or people who make fashion part of their career
