As a 30-something man with hair that goes on his shoulders, should I cut everything off? Which would look better? I grew it out because my friends went bald but I've not taken good care of it, it doesn't look great and it gets in my food, drink etc etc. Sometimes I feel like it comes off like girls hair in pic rel cuz I need to push everything behind my ears. Nothing wrong about having to push it behind your ears. Unpractical, sure.Here's what worked for me at similar length:>rinse it daily>shampoo or conditioner once a week>blow drying daily, as recommended by my hairdresser (good for you scalp)>alternatively let it dry in the sun while out>light use of product, clay or salt sprayThat's about it really. Depends a bit on you hair type. Depends on what you're going for. Artsy crazy alt girls love long hair on dudes. I've known guys who I've completely lost attraction to after cutting off their long hair. I reckon go to a hairdresser (maybe not a barber, someone who's good at cutting long hair) and tell them your woes and you'll get styled up nice.

I cut my hair once every year or so, sometimes a few more years between haircuts. I have good facial features, and every woman that has commented on my hair has told me that short hair looks much better. I also think that this is how most women feel for other men too. It's just social conditioning. So if you want to looksmaxx cut hair. Otherwise cultivate your own aesthetic.
