But he's right, though. Any time you see these kind of woolen products on ebay, etsy, tibet shops, holiday markets, etc -- they are mass produced from low quality yarn in china/india/so other low cost country. It's just drop shipping.

These socks are probably made of "real wool" but the wool will be low quality and itchy as hell. The comfort of a wool sock is so dependent on the quality of the wool and the fineness of the fibers. If you want good socks, just search for reputable wool clothing sellers and buy from them.

I am of course referring to socks knitted by a family/community member. All the socks you buy online were probably knitted by a chinese or indian 5 y/o in a sweatshop and dropshipped.
