Are the chunky homemade sheeps wool socks warmer than thick merino socks?
>>18673324Yes.t. Slav, still have a grocery bag full of brand new ones hand-knit by my late grandma. I may not be happy but my feet will be forever warm in winter. Thanks grandma.
>>18673324deosnt matter, wool for sock is terrible, enjoy the tears and rips after 3 uses.
>>18673450handmade socks last a long time
>>18673738You don't actually think they're handmade do you?>generic AI profile>$20>offering readymade styles>1400 soldYou think there's some old grandma sat there knitting these? There's nothing handmade about these at all
>>18673767ok but are they 100% heavy wool?
>>18673767
>>18673767I don't know what the op pic is, I just wanted to say that wool socks are good.
>>18673812This is literally a lie, you're buying these from some indian scammer you moron
>>18674261you are cringe subhuman go away
Just get Darn Tough
>>18674266But he's right, though. Any time you see these kind of woolen products on ebay, etsy, tibet shops, holiday markets, etc -- they are mass produced from low quality yarn in china/india/so other low cost country. It's just drop shipping. These socks are probably made of "real wool" but the wool will be low quality and itchy as hell. The comfort of a wool sock is so dependent on the quality of the wool and the fineness of the fibers. If you want good socks, just search for reputable wool clothing sellers and buy from them.
>>18676820They literally only sell slav surplus and socks. If they were gonna dropship why pick socks? There's alot of better moneymakers for dropshipping. Plus they'd have more than a few negative reviews for dropshipping.
>>18676842>If they were gonna dropship why pick socks? as opposed to selling fake "handmade by ukranian babushkas" iphone cases or mini flashlights?
>>18673324It's the trapped air that keeps you warm. Wearing a thinner merino sock that transport moisture away from the foot and wearing a thicker more airy wool socks would be the superior combination.
>>18673450my merino socks last me 2-3 years
No, but they have more sovl. I am of course referring to socks knitted by a family/community member. All the socks you buy online were probably knitted by a chinese or indian 5 y/o in a sweatshop and dropshipped.
>100% wooleven indoor use you'd flatten the bottom and develop tears within a year
I don’t think so. They always find ways to unravel and get holes like immediately.
