They are comfy, but I got the cheaper one. They lasted quite a bit. But I wouldn't pay 170 for it. 100, yes.
I was completely underwhelmed when I bought a pair a few years back. They felt thin and flimsy. The suede felt paper thin. The whole shoe felt like it was glued together as cheaply and as fast as possible. I wore that pair for a year and after a year it was completely trashed. It look totally worn out and shabby. And that was before they changed the prices. Asics decided they wanted to market it as a "luxury" shoe and jacked up the price and now the price is absolutely insane. $170 for what is basically $20 junk shoes is absolutely wild I fell for the meme but I learned my lesson and will never get this trash again
