Do Japanese people just have higher standards or is this a cultural thing? Because in America I usually get compliments.

>>18676457complimenting strangers is weird
The Japanese tend to ignore foreigners, and in a false hope, they will go away
I dress like a 17th century Japanese laundry attendant and I do get stared at and complemented
The delusional part about him is that he looks like someone’s uncle trying to look hip.
>>18677082Name a single country that isnt.
>>18676457The jaoanese tend to mind their own business. It's considered rude to stare at other people. Indians, on the other hand, will stare holes into your soul. There's a cultural clash at play here.
>>18677118how does that belt work?
>>18677966how does fucking work there? Like here a girl looks at you and you go over and say hi, how does it work there if its rude to look?
>>18678014Context. Outside of the US it's very rare to cold approach total strangers and ask them in a date. If you're at a bar or some such place you can approach fine, but at the public transport, a store or on thestreet it's extremely rude to do so. Particulary at the subway.
