I'm really into these types of male hairstyles from the 60s-70s that aren't too long or too short. They tend to have hair fringing over the ears, side parts, and bangs that aren't too long. However, I also prefer clean and trimmed sideburns, so it doesn't look like a mess when I choose to style it back. I find this type of hairstyle looks youthful yet still classy. Problem is, I have thin hair, and whenever I do style it, it sweeps down into a curtain, and I look like some sleazy pop-rockstar from the late 90s-early 2000s who will probably get ousted for dating underage girls later in the future. Any tips to fix it?

>>18677204here's a more modern boyish look that i like and still fits the theme
>>18677211here's a combed version of it that i aim to style that looks kinda matthew mcconaughey-gone-60sspeaking of the 60s, i don't want to call these hairstyles "mod," but they resemble close to one
Do you intend to look like ass, or did you just pick 5 bad photos in a row?

hey bro, in the same sitch. had long hair (shoulder length) forever, though mine's thick not thin. hate the dogshit modern clipper/razor cuts. also not a sideburn guy. wolf cuts are trending, but not really realistic unless you're under 30 imo.i'm aiming for something like robert downey jr. in zodiac. gonna drop a little inspo, but also open to anyone dropping more 60s/70s scissor cuts.
gotta find a stylist who knows how to use
>>18678593...oops...scissors, and need to nail down the product. mousse maybe? idk
>>18678589I hope you’re not getting that goatee as well. It’s just so “dad” looking. Like you’re going to dig through a cardboard box and find your old Nirvana tee.
>>18678595nah not doing the goatee thing, generally go with a light mustache/soulpatch+stubble thing, keep it pretty subtle
>>18678595full disclosure: i am 100% dad aged though (are there any young people left on the chans?), so not concerned about possible dad connotations.
