Yes, and it always will be. Finding inspiration in a fictional character's design is valid but attempting a 1 to 1 translation of a fictional look to the real world is a flawed approach to dressing well. You're in blunder years territory. Go to reddit or Instagram and look at a bunch of menswear fits with guys in suspenders, that's what you're getting into. If you still like suspenders then proceed as planned. My own 2 cents, suspenders have a pretty strong association with the art of manliness basedlennial look so they're best avoided.
