Is a black suit/black shirt appropriate for a wedding?
>>18681074I did it and no one cared and there were like three other guys who did the same thing. Some dudes were wearing fucking jeans and khakis. There are no real standards or expectations for men in 2026 everyone expects you to look like a bum, do whatever you want.
>>18681074you trynna fuck? then sure. Oxford grey suit, with some subtle pattern, a blue shirt (french blue) and a normal tie (idk brown vintage armani one), and some black boots (like a dior harness boot) is what i would go with though
>>18681074Boring.
>>18681074I thought it was rude because it could be seen as a bad omen
>>18681074It'll look like shit, but I guess it's better than a tee shirt. It's hard to justify a black shirt outside a casual setting. You really don't have a different colored shirt or suit? What tie are you wearing? Do you have a vest or waistcoat?
>>18681465whats your definition of casual? Black shirts are standard for going out at night, black is sexy.
>>18681074Black suit yes, black shirt, no.
>>18681074Depends on the dress code, but that combo will generally make you look like you're poorly attempting to look like John Wick, so I recommend either a lighter shirt or a lighter suit.>>18681465>hard to justify a black shirt in outside of a casual settingA fitted black shirt contributes to a sexy and mysterious feel, I can't imagine wearing one in a casual setting.
