Terrible mix, brown is one of the worst color to mix with purple. It's like when you mix a warm green and a cold green, it doesn't go together.
Purple would go well with black, dark navy, yellow, orange, green. It's science.

Also, the pattern doesn't match, in a bad way. The dial patterns are angular and the strap patterns (other leather grain rather) are dots. It would go better stripes or woven patterns.

it's here.

The soft and glossy dial color reminiscent of the "water surface" is based on the theme of "Nagi" which refers to the state where the sea surface is quiet.
The dial is the first to use a high corrosion-resistant, glossy and polished color ceramics, and express the "eternal beauty" that expands the seascape in front of you.
It represents the endless continuation of "Kyuon" from the distant past to the future, which is the origin of the collection name.

equipped with the Calibur 7R31, a hand-wound spring-drive movement dedicated to credor. The Caliber 7R31" has a dual spring barrel and combines two power springs in a single incense box in parallel, achieving the longest duration as a credor-only movement, which is thin but has a maximum duration of about 72 hours.
In addition, the movement, which can be seen from the back of the see-through back specification, has a curved pattern. The gentle pattern of the fragrance box expresses the "separation" where spring water flows slowly in the time when it does not change forever.
The power reserve display is placed on the back side, and the duration of each day can be read by the length of each of the three arcs. Temper screws are used for the screws to create a beautiful contrast with the finish of the movement.

The case shape is really nice, I just don't like the integrated wide lugs. Also it should have had the UFA technology! A UFA manual wind could be very small and thin. Movement looks great, especially the power reserve indicator. I'm glad they picked nice-looking numerals too. I'm sure this will be THE WATCH for some people.
>>
That Credor unironically looks like something Tissot would make. I think there's a Citizen that uses the same style of integrated 5 link bracelet, too.

You need to learn to give people the benefit of the doubt. Too many people like you now who distrust everything. You can so easily be made to believe lies because you think everything else "official" is lies. Disinformation thrives on distrust. Don't lose your way any further.

I think the CEO said UG was going to be positioned as a premium brand. Historically, the old UG were also on the expensive side.

But really, when Rolex can sell a steel Daytona with very similar specs for close to half of that price; or the JLC Polaris chronograph, which is also pretty similar in size, I think they may be a little over-ambitious in terms of positioning the brand.

Probably the sterile dial ones made by any number of companies on Aliexpress. Just solid tool watches made well with no fancy bullshit.
But I know you guys would much rather pay way more for something with a luxury name on it and some really complicated movement at a price and level of sophistication that's NOT honest because it's nothing an actual pilot would have been able to afford nor is it the kind of work they'd have put into a watch for a pilot at the time.

The original manufacturers of B-uhr watches were:
-A. Lange & Söhne
-Wempe
-Laco
-Stowa
-IWC

So the answer is from these 5 brands only.
Lange and IWC are definitely luxury now.
Laco and Stowa are still rugged watches and specialized in fliegers.
Wempe is mid.

So i'd say the most faithful is the Stowa.
Laco close second (but i think they use logos on their dial)
And IWC for the luxury version (that's better than the original watches).
>>
>>18681890
>most true to the originals that german pilots were issued in the period, but with modern proportions
Probably something like a Stowa. They were one of the companies that made them back then. You can get them with sterile dials and in a variety of sizes.

Fun facts, the ones with the most cred are Lange and Laco, and IWC third (number of sales picrel)

Lange was the biggest B-uhr manufacturer and also used camp labor, which is why they don't sell fliegers anymore and pretend that they were forced to do so by the Nazi regime.

IWC still does sell fliegers, because during war time they just agreed to do those watches and didn't use camp labor. IWC being based.

Yup, Laco is the most legit, made the watches in quantity back then, still make the watches, don't spit on their legacy (they literally name the reich as a seal of approval, kek)

>The Laco Pilot Watches Original are authentic reconstructions of the observation watches from the 1940s. They are also called B-Uhr, from the German word Beobachtungsuhren. At that time, only a handful of companies received permission to build these pilot watches according to the detailed requirements of the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM)

https://www.laco-watches.com/en/watches/pilot-watch-original/heidelberg/862094

My vote goes to Laco.
>>
>>18681881
Seems like you have already been given the best information on the fliegers but another interesting option is the Hanhart 417 ES.
>Modern reissue of the iconic German pilot chronograph design with vintage dial layout and manual‑wind movement.
>Hanhart describes it as a revival of its historic military chronograph design.
Hanhart and Tutima chronos were also issued to luftwaffe pilots.
There are also some interesting Seiko's that were issued to SADF
>>
>>18681841
This watch is stupid, actually. Even with a microrotor they couldn't get it as thin as a daytona and the retail price is more. Literally the only good watch in the lineup is the Polerouter and even that is way overpriced for what it is.

They really should have stepped back and thought "ya know what, this brand is literally just stepping out of the grave after 30 years of death and a lot of the people buying watches now have no idea wtf it is. Maybe we should keep prices reasonable to bring in new eyes again?" Coming out the gate hot with $15k steel watches from a zombie company is a little ambitious.

What's a cool watch I can buy that looks and feels nice to wear, has an interesting history, and nobody will confuse me with basedjack#2838483 who bought a watch everyone else on reddit has?

You are if it’s as bad as mine. Does the second crown twist at all or is it just a molded part of the cheap case like this one? They make good knockoffs too. But my scammer spent more on the box than the watch.
I have that strap on this Timex. Doesn’t seem to go with anything that well.
Anyway, I got my Pakistani Feiko for free because of fraud, but it’s so terrible and cheap I’d never wear it. Even though it does keep perfect time.
The best part is it cured me of wanting a real one.

No. Gifted is just a dumb new way of saying given or give depending on the tense. It doesn't imply anything but someone getting caught up in the bastardization of language.

Thinkpads are based.
The only other things that have given me such consistent performance over 10+ years are my first car and my Speedmaster. Always reliable, always comfy.
I think not liking thinkpads says a lot about you as a person. It means your taste in watches is also probably awful flashy hypeshit.

Absolutely every single time I've pushed back against hatespeech towards jews on this site I'm called "rabbi" or nonsense words that must be hebrew names or some other such shit.
I'm quite sure if I didn't put that your comment would cover it. You know exactly what's going on. You wouldn't have commented now if you weren't one of those dishonorable morons.

I own 3 chronographs and have never once timed anything with them.
Neither have you. You clicked the buttons a few times when you got it to test it out and never did again.
Complications are fucking stupid.

First? Why are you planning to start buying expensive watches? That's so dumb.
>>
>>18682287
I've used the chronograph on my speedmaster when driving, flying, exercising, hiking, cooking, gaming, RC racing, and countless other things. The tachymeter is useless, but once I swapped to the telemeter I actually ended up using that.

They look better than their new designs. They have a big back catalogue full of more or less unique watches that they could use for inspiration. GS specifically needs to stop limiting itself to only their designs and start looking at its parent's archives.

The story is, my wrist is too thick for the default F-91W. The buckle ends up on the side and the watch always goes off center to the side too. Yet I liked how thin and light the watch was. Then I found a flexible strap in my mom's tailoring box. At first I decided to make a proper strap, but eventually I simplified the design until it was nothing more than simply a single piece of strap with ends melted off until it was left with the perfect size and nothing else. The friction of the bars holds the strap. The melted blobs prevent it from going out. It's crazy but the end result is optimized for pure thin comfort. The ultimate under the cuff, out of the way watch. I could sew the ends but I didn't need to yet. Of course I'm not scared of losing the watch. Pure performance.

I shoved a CR2025 or CR2032, I don't remember, inside so it's way more than 999. Also filled it with extra virgin olive oil. You'll never find such exquisite water proofing on a Phillipio.

I'm sorry. We tallied all the votes, and you didn't pull it off. That kind of band just doesn't work with a Casio considering the way the case transitions into the stock rubber strap.
I'm sure it's comfortable, sport. But it'll just never look right.
>>
>>18682404
Yeah those Japanese boomers at Casio need to finally make a straight strap friendly design. Their default straps suck ass. If you know a model, recommend.

It would look fine if it was just squared off. Those brackets on the end just make it only work with what they give you, and yes on the non-G-shocks the straps can really blow. I never ever wear my F-84W for that reason.

Like this watch has normal lugs and would look good on other straps. And while the brand just makes total cheap crap, the way this displays the time is really, really cool. I've never seen it before. I'm sure some other company came up with it and charge more than $28 for it, but I wouldn't pay any more for such a novelty.
>>
>>18682408
Weird, that is on another strap. When I screenshot it I thought it was on a metal bracelet. I didn't even know it came on leather until I saw what I posted. Shit, I'm going to order that one. 36mm seems alright. Final digital. Final final.
