What can I do to prevent my hair from curling this way?Whenever my hair gets wet, the sides curl upwards (left half of the picture). I would like it to be straight, but nothing other than using a hair straightener seems to work.I have tried combing it and blow drying it, but that doesn't work. If you know of a way to naturally straighten / flatten hair, preferably without using a product, please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

>>18686749The trim setting will activate on the flaps if you haven't retracted the landing gear, so try that, otherwise, you really should learn how flaps work with lift in close proximity to the ground.
Mines the same. You have no choice but to cut it. I like to keep it just short enough on my sideburns and above the ears and then let it grow out behind the ears and in back. Gives a nice flow under hats and such.
>>18686845Why would I cut it? I want it to be long. I just want it to be straight and flat.Other than that, thanks for the input, mulletman.
>>18686895Nta but that is your only option, realistically. Either you constantly treat it with product, or you cut it short. What you are experiencing is the natural angle that the hair wants to grow (think like a cow lick), and you can't do shit about it. I have the same issue with the hair on left side of my beard so I have to keep it trimmed short before it can naturally begin to curl.

>>18686895It will never be flat. Accept my advice or your hair as is.
>>18686895>>18686901Well there is ONE other option which is to grow it out until there's enough weight for it to naturally drape down. But keep in mind you have to have at least decent genetic facial structure for long hair to look good.
>>18687013>>18686971Curly hair is a curse, you literally just need to get it cut in a way that whatever is going wrong can't happen. Learned this the hard way myself.
>>18686749>What can I do to prevent my hair from curling this way?Cut it short. Simple as.
>>18686749the only real advice you can get here is to grow it out or get a fade on the side
Have you tried wetting the hair with cold water, then combing it flat against your face and then rubbing it with a towel over and over again so it stays flat? >>18687244Are you retarded?>I would like it straightIf OP wanted to cut his hair short, he would cut his hair short. He wants it straight. How come you literally can't even comprehend four measly sentences? Why do you even bother posting? I'm genuinely curious as to why you would spend your free time spewing complete nonsense like this. There must be something better you can do with your life, no?
>>18686749heat, straighten.
>>18687013I have the same hair type, but I have never grown it longer than a finger, this looks so good and I think I'll try this why the fuck not, do you think this person uses any hair styling like a leave in conditioner or some oil? I got all the basic hair care like not too much shampoo in a week and conditioner every time you shower but I can't figure out hair products yet that you leave in through the day
>>18687273Curly hair is a death sentence if a man wants it to be straight; there's no containing it. He either lives with it or cuts it short.
