>>18688764>Literally almost nobody on earth cares about fashion at allNo, most people do. Most people don't care about 'fashion' in the haute couture runway kind of way. But, most people have mostly always cared about fashion in the broader sense. Or, personal sense. Primitive cavemen would wear jewellery made of shells and feathers. Human nature. Fashion holds cultural, societal and individual importance. Pretty much everyone has an image that they want to present themself as. Like, when they're out in the world. You cultivate your image so that people will see you a certain way. Even if you're just wearing nondescript clothes to fit. You still care enough to do that. Still has meaning. Everyone cares about the clothes they wear. And how it makes them look.
>>18688764>Literally almost nobody on earth cares about fashion at allYeah this is why the clothing industry is so tiny right? No one cares, they just buy used rags.>You have to buy expensive/good brands to be fashionableLiterally anyone wearing full Wrangler/Lee/Levis mogs anyone wearing expensive avant garde shit, this just outs you as ugly and coping through muh brand.
>>18688764>>Skin health and aging are 90% genetics and not drinking/smoking/doing drugs90% is definitely too high. General photodamage is very preventable, moisturizing and retinoids are very effective. Some drugs do wreak havoc on skin. It's more like 60%, tops. >>99+% of traffic on this board is watchesProvably incorrect, you're forgetting frags.>which are NOT EFFAYI somewhat agree, watches are more of a wealth signaller than a fashion accessory. You're doing yourself a big disservice wearing a watch that isn't prohibitively expensive.>Literally almost nobody on earth cares about fashion at allMost women do, they're psychologically wired to care about it. Men, to a much lesser degree.>99+% of people who have good fashion sense are liberals99+% of women are not liberal, so this is incorrect.>You have to buy expensive/good brands to be fashionable Untrue, you only have to buy what is fashionable to be fashionable. There is also a massive difference between being stylish and fashionable, but /fa/ isn't ready for this discussion.>HOWEVER you can get them all used on ebay/depop/fb marketplace for less than the cost of NEW shitty clothesThis is true but disgusting. Just buy from off price retailers if you want to be stylish.

>>18688764These two from your post are false nukes:>>Literally almost nobody on earth cares about fashion at all>>You have to buy expensive/good brands to be fashionable But the rest of it I pretty much agree with
If you want to dress for attraction, dress hot, not handsome.
>>18688784Most women aren’t going to be checking out a watch and autistically looking for some sort of engraving to prove authenticity. If a watch is big and shiny and you got it from an arcade machine, that’s good enough.
>>18688784>There is also a massive difference between being stylish and fashionable, but /fa/ isn't ready for this discussion. What's your definition of stylish vs. fashionable?
