btw new limited edition Nicolai frag out on Friday (May 1st): Fleurs d'Oranger EDP
>>18691063frag for smelling like air dried laundry?
I forgot how strong Immortel Corselle is.
I decided to replace Platinum Egoiste with the vintage frag I found. I really like Caron, and another Anon told that Le 3e mogs Pour in Homme (which I enjoy immensely) especially the older bottles. I found a fragrance store that pretty much only sells vintage frags, and they had three unopened testers left in stock for what I feel is a very reasonable price. I bought one, and now let's hope it doesn't disappoint.
>>18691074Air dried laundry doesn't smell like anything, you might be thinking of the soap or fabric softener scents, which are usually cheap and built around linalool (lavender) and white musk. Try a few lavender frags, from MEM to Beau de Jour to Pour un Homme de Caron.
Sotd Kenzo Homme edt 1991
>>186911543e is in fact better but its very different than PUH. Its an autumn/winter scent for sureIts moss, cinnamon, cloves, and lavender. Like a spicy Bois du Portugal if you will
Do good cheapies even exist? I feel like there's no good fragances under 100-150usd
>>18691349you can get most mainline (TdH, H24) and classic (Eau d'Hermes, Bel Ami Vetiver, Les Colognes, etc.) Hermes frags at discounters for less than 100 (euro)bucks so they def exist
>>18691349>Lanvin L'Homme>Le Male EDT>Encre Noire>Aramis>Versace Pour Homme>L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme Intense>Obsession for Men>Drakkar Noir>Aromatics Elixir>Acqua di Gio>Tons of masque milano frags in 35ml size>most designers in smaller bottles>whatever else in the OP cheapies list>Club de nuit line of dupes, idk but normies seem to love thembe honest anon did you even look or were you just hoping some retard like me would spoon feed you a list
>>18691200>fresh air doesnt smell like anything>linen doesnt smell like anything>cotton doesnt smell like anythingwhat is a scentlet like you doing in this thread?
Reverse 1999 characters all have their perfumes/colognes listed out, but as far as I can tell they've never officially made them. Where would I go to or what can I do to get them custom-made, e.g. Shamane's here in the bottom left? Oriental Woods, Red Sandalwood, Nard (endangered/restricted?), Sal Tree, Black Currant
>>18691370I'd also be interested in Kaalaa Baunaa's for my wife; Eastern, Cinnamon, Khus, Champak, Wild Chamomile
>blind bought dior homme parfumwhat am i in for lads
>>18691364He was probably just hoping to be spoonfed, but good on you for helping anyway.
>>18691344I wear whatever I want when I want because it's 90 fuckin' degrees here 8 months out of the year, and anywhere between 70 to 100 on the other 4.
>>18691378smooth chocolatey iris on soft suede and heavy vanilla. I preferred the Intense.
>>18691415>I preferred the Intense.Cuir Ottoman is even better.
ColoniaColonia EssenzaMugler CologneThese are the best soapy scents I have tried. Anything else I should try? Haven't tried Prada Infusion de Cedre, any good?
>>18691395>proud to be brownGood for you, I guess
>>18691459Prada L'HommeAzemour les Orangersbut the Colonia and its flankers are the benchmarks for me
In your opinions, do any of the pacific chill clones even come close to the original? I smelled les sables roses, imagination, ombre nomad, meteore, and pacific chill for the first time sunday and would like something more budget friendly if its close to the original. If there isn't a good dupe of it I will probably just buy the original but I am curious if anyone has tried any of the dupes
Anyone own it? I am tempted to buy a sample off Luckyscent, but I have a hard time believing that it's worth the price. Even on the high priced frags I own, they tend to just say "It's expensive" but 540 goes beyond that with a large number of people of agreeing that it's not just expensive but very overpriced.
>>18691507Go to a macy's or something mine has a bajillion MFK frags in the womens section
>>18691479
>>18691507I've tried it and have a decant of the eau de parfum, which I think is more interesting, even living the price aside. Whether it's worth its asking price is entirely subjective, so try it out and decide. And as anon said, it's a popular frag so you'll find it in most frag stores, no need to buy a sample if it doesn't strike you as interesting enough.
I'm Bonfire-scent-seeking anon from a few weeks ago. I tried practically everything recommended (aside from City on Fire) and all were misses as far as what I was looking for, Tyrannosaurus by far the most interesting. However, just recieved CB I Hate Perfume's Burnt Wood and it's nailed the scent, minus the rubbery pine/birch tar note I'm keen for. Thanks for the reccs regardless, DORKS.
>>18691524Did you try Corpus Equus? I don't think it was posted in that thread. It's mostly a leather scent with an intensely smoky and rubbery birch tar.
>Series 3 samples arrive>the blotter top for Avignon is weirdly tight>tug on it carefully, twist it>nothing>retard strength for a moment>it pops open like a champagne bottle, goes flying and spills the 1ml sample on the floor like a wasted loadGreat.
>>18691507It's a good reference to have since so many other scents are built on the same formula.
>>18691532INTERESTING I'll have to sniff that one, I actually already had Naomi Goodsir marked for Nuit de Bakelite. Looks like they have another smoky one with tobacco and whiskey notes too.>>18691535Absolutely tragic, I can't stand the 1ml non-spray samples fearing this exact scenario. Avignon is real good but Zagorsk is the star of that line imo
>>18687355>>18687057 (Cross-thread)>>18687469Came back after ordering testers.I bought from PinewardApple tabacJayloftLime ColaCoffee TabacPonderosaMurkwoodJuniperusBrokilanAdditionally from Naomi Goodsir Nuit de bakeliteand honestly most of them were nice, but MVP for me:Murkwood, really nice foresty and honesty I will pick up this or Brokilan because those for me are really close but one is softer.Juniperus is something completely different but still fits the vibe.As nice surprised Nuit de bakelite, very nice smell. As for other that worth to mention, Panderosa, and Hayloft (indeed nice nut smell)I might order some more samples because ineed Pineward came with surprised for me, although I have also Loewe on my wishlist.
>>18691544Nice, NdB and Bois d'Ascese are my favorites from the set. NdB is insanely strong, very floral but more stem and leaf than flower.
>>18691544Bois d'Ascese might hit the mark a little more imo than Corpus Equus? CE is a lot more leather-forward imo, though still cool. if you liked T-Rex, then maybe Hyde from Hiram Green might be worth looking at
Anyone have any experience ordering MDCI frags off of their website? I really want chypre palatin but rheir website is boomer tier. Also what other frags are worth checking out besides invasion barbare?
I just blind bought Santal 33, someone tell me what I think of it.
>>18691524D&G Velvet Desert Oud is a resinous smoky campfire, lighter fluid and all.
>>18691604I only buy items that are easy and convenient to buy. I'm not jumping through hoops and humiliating myself like the vendor is doing me a favor. Here is my money, take it or leave it.
Recent trip to the mall to check for the new Light Blue EDP had me testing a bunch of stuff to expand my horizons, added them to my collection of all tested frags in picrel. Lots of designers but also notice a lot of basic stuff, is there novelty in designer frags or are they "basic" by default? Most unique scents for me are the Tom Ford frags, Nasomatto and AdP. Oh and also Fahrenheit, I tried to compare it to a known scent but kept failing, maybe there was some fatigue involved but it's a weird one for sure, very unique.
>>18691535I use my multitools pliers for those
>>18691604I did it, I sent them a message using their boomer-tier website waiting for their response I asked for a simple presentation of Chypre Palatin and the following 5 samples Invasion BarbareCuir garamanteL’homme aux gantsCuir CavalierLe Barbier de TangerI'll keep you guys posted on all of these if I care enough once I get my goodies
>>18691604Why don't you buy from LuckyScent or some shit? It's gonna be the same amount. It might even be slightly cheaper since LuckyScent has a Shop page and it's authorized to spit out $10 and $20 discounts on orders over $100 for some reason.
Anyone try and buy from the HEELEY website recently? It seems like they don't ship to US anymore, or maybe I'm retarded?
>>18691757>It seems like they don't ship to US anymoremany such cases desuask them about their current policy, they might be more flexible than advertised (see the PdE discussion a few threads back)
>>18691365You are quite literally a midwit and a victim of marketing. Lmao it's insane how this is the kind of person that's now on 4chan
is YSL tuxedo wearable in hot weather?
>>18691349>Do good cheapies even exist?dozens
>>18691756They send you 5 11ml samples as well as it being about 300$ as opposed to 350$
>>18691459Sung Homme
Brutal - Jeets are so poor they need to buy clones of clones
>>18691866Mind boggling to think people on this thread are asking for 'cheap' fragrance between $100-$150 and they're asking for fragrances between $10-$15. It really humbles me and makes me appreciate my collection even more than I already do.
>>18691604>>18691718Insane shipping costs.
>>18691718How much did you pay for that?
>>18691892It winds up being 255 euro or 300$ if shipped to the US, still not sure why shipping is so high
>>18691860Who the hell told you that?
>>18691905Guess I was mistaken then, I still think going through the original website is worth it for the 55ml of samples
>>18691906Luckyscent let's you pick 4 or 5 samples on your order. Check for yourself.
>>18691908That's true but they are 2ml or so, MDCI gives you 5 11ml samples
These bottles are neat and the price isn't too crazy. I'd need to find out if anyone has done any reviews on them.
>>18691910Ah, fair.
>>18691760>many such cases desuwhat a sick and twisted world this is. Sotd Comme des Garçons 2 Man
>>18691923>what a sick and twisted world this is.yeah, please file your complaint with the orange man
>>18691925I was thinking of filing with netanyahu instead, you know might as well straight to the top Where do I have to go to see privee lines? Like private lines of YSL is that only in major metropolitan areas like NYC?
>>18691928>I was thinking of filing with netanyahu instead, you know might as well straight to the topkek>Where do I have to go to see privee lines?yeah or maybe big airportsnot sure about the USA desu, maybe a fellow burger anon can help you out
