It's actually fucking disgusting. Almost everywhere in my house is covered with my body hair. Especially evident on lighter colored floors like in my bathroom. Literal tumbleweeds of hair on the floor. Doesn't help that I have dandruff either. I don't necessarily want to be as hairless as you and your family sound like but I still do definitely wish I had way less hair than I currently do.
