Maybe expensive clothes are out for a while. I wouldn’t wear some designer piece to the park with my kids but that doesn’t mean I would but wear sweatpants and a t-shirt although that is a certain look.

Treat it as if you have a job where your clothes could get dirty. It doesn't mean they can't still look good.

If you feel that you cannot create a good look without spending a lot of money, consider how you could change that belief.

Its not as bad as you may think. When my kid was 0-3 yrs old I basically switched over to not wearing anything that is white or light coloured.

It's either vomit, poo or food most of the time which isnt that difficult to get out of darker coloured clothes. Paint is really the only thing you cant get out of clothes so just keep older clothes you don't care about for those times.
