Are short sleeve shirts + ties effay?
Nope. They are actually very, very dweeby.
>>18696641No, unless you want to look like an old man or a nerd. Its a mish mash of formalities as the tie is formal and short sleeve shirt is informal. If I am wearing a tie I'm at least wearing a dress shirt with at a minimum a sport coat preferably a suit.If you want a short sleeve shirt look at cuban collar or guayabara type shirt in linen. In Latin America its seen as business casual wear.
>>18696641Maybe if it's a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up a bit.
>>18696641Tie without a suit looks like shit in general. Ties are specifically designed to complete a suit.
>>18696656If you have jacked arms that works quite well.
totally
>>18696664Retarded take.
>>18696669It's not a "take", it's the truth. You may not like the truth, but it's still the truth.
>>18696669Ok Dilbert.
>>18696672Its kind of like those idiots that wear a vest alone over a dress shirt and think thats dressing up like a big boy.
>>18696641It works well when you're young, thin and good looking like >>18696667, a twink basicallyIf you're not a twink you can quickly look like a nerd or an old man, as other posters say
>>18696683What if I have a long ponytail and scruffy beard? I want to look like a bum who works in IT.
>>18696679No those are way worse those guys should be shot on site
>>18696684>I want to look like a bum who works in ITThat will certainly work, yes. I wouldn't want that look for myself and I'm not sure why anyone would, but you do you, anon
>>18696641Ask any woman what's a sexy look for a guy and they'll say a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Your picture is a LITERAL nerd character.
>>18696641It's a distinct scientist/engineer look. For me, it conjures images of midcentury NASA and Half Life 1 scientists. I think it's cool within that context, would not wear it outside that profession though. If you want a casual collared shirt and tie look, you would be better off rolling up the sleeves of an oxford shirt and loosening your tie.
>>18696664>>18696672>>18696678>>18696679>this level of cope for being ugly fat uncs who’ve never washed their filthy asses in a bidet once in their livesKeep staring at me from a distance flexing on you, subhuman /pol/tards.
>>18696894Oh sweet, this is now a schizo thread
Why do they make us wear th ae rediculous ties?
>>18696894I'm really humbled that such a simple yet obviously correct opinion has caused you not only to move goalposts entirely from a plain shirt with a tie to adding another layer that visually approximates a suit, but also throw a total of 5 ad hominems, none of which actually landed. An utter deafeat the likes of which I haven't seen i a while. Thanks for the laugh.
>>18696641why I see this posted everywhere?
>>18696944>tie le only w/ le sute :D>gets proven wrong>seethesMany such cases.Remember to take the shower after shit.
>>18696641I'm not some le trad menswear gatekeeper faggot but what is the point of short sleeves on a shirt? Just roll the full length sleeves up it you're getting hot.
>>18696656that's not short sleeve shirt>>18696686what site?>>18696944you are wrong
>>18697089What’s the point of t-shirts if you can just roll the sleeves of your sweater?
>>18697156T-shirt is a base layer, sweater isn an outer layer. You're not making any sense.
>>18697201Any shape in clothing design makes its own and particular sense. You’re just a dense retard.
>>18696641Only when you're one-handing an uzi.
