Why have stores stopped selling cargo pants? I'm in need of some new ones, particularly ones with zipper pockets, but no one has any in stock. Where else am I supposed to keep my phone, keys, bulky wallet, and other things?I could order a pair online, but I always want to try clothes in person first.

Dunking on cargo pants was a millennial thing that hasn't really been big since all the millennials aged out of caring about fashion and all got fat and had a bunch of kids. You'll sometimes see a tatted up, saggy tits woman with a tramp stamp dunking on "sagging gangster pants and fedoras and cargo shorts and crocs" like that's still a relevant strawman but otherwise this isn't really a thing, you can easily get cargo pants at most stores
