Is there a point in buying expensive clothes?
yeah, if you know how to spot excellent material and craftsmanship because thats worth paying extra for if you can afford it if you just buy expensive shit for the sake of it, thats cringe and you should get beaten
expensive textiles like cashmere and silk feel amazing on the skin
>>18698453man they really do
>>18698417After a certain point you are paying for a brand name. For example, my Spier and Mackay dress shirts are a lot better quality than a Michael Kors dress shirt while also being cheaper in price. I also have much more expensive (eg Thomas Mason) and the quality is comparable to the Spier and Mackay except the TM ones are more than 3x the price.
>>18698455this, you have to know how to spot pieces that are worth that price or you'll get ripped off no matter the brand
>>18698417If you’re buying expensive designer pieces you probably are taking a lot of time considering the purchase when on the other hand going to a Zara or whatever you might just pick something up sporadically, now it probably isn’t as expensive as that designer piece but is the money as well spent or not.
