Are they out of fashion? I am bald now so i am trying to cope somehow covering my head with something that looks nice. The problem is that i feel like a jackass wearing one when nobody else does.
Wear a ball cap and put it on backwards like a douche. Grow a chin strap.

Hats are perfectly fine for outdoor days. Hiking, biking, fishing, walking, picnics, gardening. Having a coffee at the outdoor cafe. Inspecting the troops. Patrolling the perimeter. Whatever.Where it becomes cringe is when you're wearing it at night, indoors, in the shade, in air conditioning, for no obvious or even not so obvious reason. Not because of some "rules" but because people instinctively feel that it's out of place. And subconsciously, they will think less of you for it. They may not even know why they feel a certain way, they probably won't think "hat! indoors! oh no that's heckin cringe!'It's just that no one else will have one, there isn't any "feeling" of needing protection from the sun or rain. So you're going to seem a little off to them. And that coupled with your pre-existing lack of confidence, will not be a good look.
