So I will be next month in japan until July and I am already a fat fuck, so I would like to at least look a little bit fashionable. I heard that they really like to wear long stuff in summer.
Anyone know where I can get stuff to look at least a little bit /fa/? I already have oversized Uniqlo shirts. Are there also some cool brands, that I should at least check out or get?

Also I heard having a beard is considered ugly there. So should I shave? Keep in mind: I am bald and fat.
>>
Your main focus should be to lose weight. Everything else is very much secondary.
>>

>bald and fat.

Then you can't pull off the eboy look, UNC.
The whole thing is about being thin and having hair.

Also, why are baldies roaming this board? It's game is over for you, get implants or something, big papa.
>>
>>18701199
I don‘t want to pull the eboy look, just not look like the biggest tourist/gaijin. I also do like the oversized look they do. But summer in Japan is hell, according to people online, so I want something where I at least look somewhat good.
>>18701187
One day, but I am already a wizard anon.
>>
>>18701206
Just buy a couple linen pants and shirts in muted green, blue, beige and white shades.
>>
>>18701206
Oversized doesn't work on fat people, to you it's just normal fat clothes.

As >>18701208 just try not to look like a slob. A simple button down already differenciate you from 99% of tourists.
>>
>>18701206
Also, desu, eboy/oversized is not as prevalent as you think.
Japanese millenials and older dress in slim mallswear.
If you overdress in full Nepenthes, Beams or Yohji Yamamoto, you will look like a tourist more than if you wear old mallwear shit.

Stopped reading there, fat fuck

thanks anons.
so I should dress in slim, but I don't like that. Didn't know anything about nepenthes or beams.
Do you know any good brands in japan, because I think stuff like airism is much better than cotton shirts for the japanese summer.

>it's just normal fat clothes.
Yes and no, I look more like a big bear with a big gut I guess. I have broad shoulders. So it doesn't look like slimfit on a fat guy.
>>
>>18701286
No, don't dress slim, just buy stuff that fits that's neither too tight nor too lose.
Idk about any japanese brands, focus on fot and material, not brand.

Kapital, Digawel, Nanamica, Baloriginal... all the good stores are around Shibuya/Harajuku/Meguro

I like and dislike this. Thank you very much anon I will look through these.
>>18701288
I won‘t get slim, but I like oversize stuff honestly. But I wear a good mix of oversize and not oversize here in germany. I am asking for brands, because I would like to get stuff that are breathable and good for the humid and hot summer, where I will sweat 24/7. It‘s easier to search for brands.
>>
>>18701290
Okay all that shit looks great, but it‘s also pricey as hell. 200€ for pants are little bit too much.
>>
>>18701304
UNIQLO is for you
>>
>>18701423
Is there really nothing in the middle of them? I don‘t mind just buying uniqlo stuff, but the other brands are also quite cool and japan only. So I wouldn‘t mind getting stuff like this. But maybe from a brand where pants costs 80-100€ or shirts like 40-60€
>>
>>18701423
Does my local mall have Uniqlo?
>>
>>18701180
dude just peter griffinmaxx or some shit
>>
>>18701588
This. I'd double down on the fat bastard/weaboo otaku look.

Don't try to look like a zoomer or something you're not.

How fat are you? Are we talking morbidly obese where people would assume you can't walk on your own without great difficulty or are you just a little bit fat? What waist size are your pants, how tall are you?

I think if you're really fat, you will stand out in Japan. Really you will stand out anyway, but if you're either tall or fat you'll stick out like a sore thumb. Best thing you can do before you go is lose weight.

Try carnivore diet. I did it for 3 weeks a year ago and lost 20lbs. I stopped because it was boring as hell. But if you start now and really commit, you could probably lose at least 40-50lbs by July
>>
>>18701621
And how much of it did you gain back and then some?
>>
>>18701627
gained back 10lbs.

I think it works as a crash diet I just couldn't do it forever, thinking about doing it again though because I would like to lose 30 or 40lbs if I could
>>
>>18701630
Yeah, thats what I thought.

> How fat are you? Are we talking morbidly obese where people would assume you can't walk on your own without great difficulty or are you just a little bit fat? What waist size are your pants, how tall are you?
So I got some zara pants, that are 46eur, 36usa, 36 mex. I also have carhatt pontiac pant baggy which are 38x32 but these are too big and without a belt I can‘t wear them. Height is 180-182, I do have bad posture and I do weigh 103-105kg.
But I am def. not a „can‘t walk on it‘s own guy“ lol. E.g. I will go to the gym later and I didn‘t do chest for at least a month. I will start benchpressing with 65kg and if I am not lazy I walk 10km in 2 hours (probably much faster if there wouldn‘t be inclines).

So not american fat, but also not japanese fat I guess. Somewhere in the middle. I will go in 3 weeks, so I don‘t think I will loose 20kg until them. But I will try my best lol. Also I will walk a lot there.
>>
>>18701632
you're not fat, as long as you don't wear tight fitting clothes in Japan you'll be fine.
>>
>>18701639
>180 cm
>103 kg
>not fat
>>
>>18701639
Thanks anon, I am and need to loose weight, but still, this thread was more about what clothes I can get for extremely humid and hot summer of japan, while not looking like shit. Like I know they wear long stuff in summer, but outside of uniqlo what can I get? I think shorts are a no-go there. Also what about facial hair? I don‘t expect to get to know or date some japanese/chinese/korean girl, but I just would like to look at least /fa/ there.
>>
>>18701646
Check out webcam livestreams to see what Japanese people actually wear.

You're going on holiday and you're fat and white, you're not going to fit in no matter what
>>
>>18701649
they look and dress just like me... thank you...
>>
>>18701649
Thanks I will check that out, but I think it‘s as I thought. Shirts and long pants.

>>18701692
Not fully white, but yeah. I will def. be a gaijin, but I don‘t want to be a ugly dressing gaijin.
