Can fashion get any worse? Have we reached the lowest point in culture? I thought the wiggerization of culture in the early 2000s (baggy pants, backwards hats) combined with the hipster backlash of skinny jeans and bright colors was the bottom of the barrel, but I'm starting to think that things haven't gotten any better since then. I am kind of a slob, I don't really dress well, but when I go out to a fancy dinner I try to make myself look nice and wear my nicer clothes. I saw this photograph and became enraged. They're at some restaurant in NYC that's a nice fancy place, with dishes that are all between 50 and 100 dollars. And what are they wearing? Horrendous slovenly clothes. Taylor Swift is wearing what looks like a nightgown that a grandmother would've worn in the 20th century. And Kelce? Travis has on a shirt that looks like it belongs on a wall in a modern art museum. He's 36 years old. And a professional athlete. And yet he's dressing himself like he is a 20 year old skinny transsexual art student. It's just so sad. These are supposed to be the highest tier people, the most aspirational couple in America, and perhaps, the world. She's the billionaire singer songwriter, he's a pro athlete. They're in love. People look up to them. And this is how they choose to represent themselves. This is how they dress. This is literally the best of the best in the 2020s
