>how I feel after I (poorly) fix a crotch blowout on my jeans
Has anyone else learned how to sew? I like it a lot, and being able to hem my own pants and fit my clothes a little bit better makes me feel like they're more "mine" somehow. I really enjoy it. I'm thinking of getting into embroidering so I can do some gay ass designs on jackets and shirts.

I think you just need to practice, bro. I'm the same way, and sewing isn't as hard as people think it is. It's just held behind these videos and instructions meant to teach women, which for some reason treat them like idiots, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes pretty easy.
