I'm seeing a lot of people around town dressing down suits, often really traditionally conservative ones (like black or charcoal). Everyone seems to be wearing straight leg high twist wool pants right now. What is an entrypoint into this. I am looking at the traditional fit suits from suitsupply and todd snyder but i have no idea
what part of "wearing a suit without a button up and/or tie" do you not understand
>>18702766>I'm seeing a lot of people around town dressing down suits, often really traditionally conservative ones (like black or charcoal). No you aren't.>Everyone seems to be wearing straight leg high twist wool pants right now.Literally no one is doing this, especially now that it's like 80 degrees out.Try again poltard.
>>18702813sorry you live in a flyover state. i'm in new york city, lower east side
>>18702820Sure you are.
>>18702828 guy can't imagine anyone having a life better than his own pathetic existence
>>18702766I think this is an AI post. It's oddly specific, like mentioning "straight leg high twist wool", like what is that? Nobody focussing on that. It's like pointing out people driving cars and you specifically mention that they have winter tires. And who the fuck is Todd Snyder? This is totally AI
>>18703007High twist is being pushed pretty hard now if you still follow traditional menswear, and Todd Snyder is a name you should recognize if you live in the US and aren't completely broke. It could be an AI-assisted post but I don't think it's a fully AI post, no LLM is going to say "entrypoint" or use that sentence structure.t. also lives in NYC (not LES though)
>>18702813what the hell are you taking about retard>>18703007shut up
>>18702820And you dont know what a suit is or where to buy a suit? Seems unlikely
>>18703013>>18702813>>18703007>Literally no one is doing this, especially now that it's like 80 degrees out.isn't that the entire fucking point of high-twist fibres?
>>18703059no it is a pol meme apparently
>>18703061high twist wool? pretty sure that's been a warmer weather suiting option since basically forever when linen would be too casualyou can also get high-twist fabrics that aren't wool for other things. I have a few high-twist cotton knit shirts and they're quite nice, very breathableor do you mean the dressing down suits thing? I don't think that's pol specific either, but I don't browse the board so maybe I'm out of the loopor the wearing suits in hot weather? sounds more like a Japan-in-summer thing than anythingalthough I do agree that it's odd that OP would note that the fabric is high-twist since you would have to be fairly close to the fabric to notice that, and if you were that good at identifying fabric types, you'd probably know more about styling suits in the first place
>>18703070No I was only mocking the tard.
There is no entry point. If you’re looking specifically for certain wool fabrics, you’ve long since blew past the entry level clothing market and are now looking for niche, frankly premium market clothing. SuitSupply’s whole thing in general is like better than mass market crap quality suits at a cheaper than true premium price so that’s fine.
>>18703061>high twist is a /pol/ memeThis is up there with "linen pants were invented by tiktok in June, 2025" that you freaks were pushing last year
>>18702766Go to Brooks Brothers. They will help you out and wont charge you an arm and a leg for it.
>>18703719The "good" brooks bros suits are at least as expensive as more desirable brands, and the affordable ones are just utility suits you would buy if you work a lower level position at a bank or a law firm
>>18703729Thats the thing. He can find and try what he likes with the inexpensive ones before dropping a lot of cash.
>>18703729Also its kind of funny but women dont know the difference between a loro piana suit and something made from modal/viscose. I have a cheap suit I bought in mexico about 20 years ago on vacation and women think its my most expensive one because its "shiney" kek
>>18703732The cut is completely different though, it's like saying he can try apple juice to figure out what kind of coffee he likes. Not how it works.>>18703738People don't have to know the names of things to know if it's nice or not. That said, you sound like you hang out with lower class women.
>>18703007I think this entire thread is AI, honestly. I don’t believe any of you are real people.
>>18703747Your arrogance is hilarious and you arent fooling anyone here.
