I wanna get a bunch of white shirts, what would be the best place to get them?
and how much would you recommend spending on something like this? i saw some places that had shirts for like €40, are they worth it, or would it be better to go for something cheap?
oh yeah, also, do you think oversized shirts are cool or cringe?
idk shit about fashion so im hoping you guys can give me some tips here lol.

This is probably the last place to ask for fashion advice. Guarantee some older anon in his 40s is going to try to dress you up like a greaser or James Dean.

Where depends on the cut you want.
Cost depends on the details you want, cotton origin, loopwheeled.
Oversized can word depending on the rest of the fit, your attitude etc.
Don't worry, nobody here knows shit about fashion.
If you don't want to turn your brain on go to uniqlo and buy the supima t-shirts, if you want something that feels more luxury go to suitsupply and get a wool or cotton-silk short sleeved round neck sweater (it's a t-shirt) and if you want something cheap get a fruit of the loom 5-pack.
Or you can decide what shape of shirt you want and go from there.

Most t-shirts are too long for most people to look good without tucking.

You will have to either look a lot for something that fits, go for body oversize, or get it tailored.

I would start with buying one of each Gildan options at least the high gsm ones, they cost nothing and might be endgame for you.

If you have access to fast fashion stores, go try their t-shirts, all the different ones, and find what you like. Even the cheapest Zara / h&m options that are full cotton are just fine in terms of quality. You just have to find YOUR fit or fits.

Uniqlos crewneck t is nice and thick. If you want boxy fit you could just hem the t shirt.
>>
I fortunately have access to Sunspel sample sales so can get their T-shirts relatively cheaply, they're crazy expensive usually. I like them because they're thin (I like to wear them under stuff, so don't need anything super-thick), have a neat cut and nice collar detail. But they're also resilient, I wash them at very hot temperatures and they're still going strong years later.

This guy wears a small size due to being a twink and still it's too long. I wouldn't pay good money for shit fit.

okay thanks, ill try out some different ones. uniqlo gets recommended so much i might start there.
>options that are full cotton
how important is this btw? what are the advantages compared to like a polyester mix, or whatever else there is
>>
>>18703579
You need some extra material down there for tucking in.
>>
>>18703554
spend as little as possible they are gonna yellow over time and probably stained with other shit which means you gonna have to throw them away and get new ones anyway

if you want comfot and is autismmaxxed you need a tubular knit too since it has no side seams
add on better cotton quality, combed cotton etc for even better quality

you gonna throw this shit awaya evntually since they are white anyway, you can try bleachmaxxing to save them but that tears up fabric too
>>
>>18703626
"Bleach" is a lot of different chemicals and some of them will actually accelerate the yellowing of white cotton, I look forward to another brain dead zoomer telling me that I'm (pick one: greasy, brown, a slob) for understanding how clothes work
>>
>>18703557
Why do you try to ruin every thread before they even start?
>>
>>18703554
This is ultimately something only you can figure out yourself through trial and error. Buying bulk quantity of an item like this, what matters the most is how perfect it is for you. You want the best fit and the best material, and you have to find that out yourself through trying a ton of shirts in different materials and styles.
>>
>>18703609
I don’t see any advantage in a poly-blend. Polyester just makes things less breathable.
>>
>>18703639
>and some of them will actually accelerate the yellowing of white cotton
that's why it's a last resort before it's all over
that's why I just recommend buying new shit at that point
>>
>>18703562
>you might have to get a t-shirt tailored
God fuck you people are beyond help.
>>18703609
In the case of lower end pieces, a poly blend is generally used to save money on cotton.
In the case of higher end pieces it might be to make things more resistant or more moisture-wicking.
Good quality poly athletic pieces might also be engineered to wick moisture(sweat) efficiently and not get saturated.

plan white tee shirt meme is for people in good shape

you have to first build your shoulders, biceps, forearms to pull it off. Only then is it about the fit of the shirt. Size in the shoulders, relaxed in the right places but not boxy, slight cropping so it hovers around the belt line.

basically the perfect white tee looks casual and unforced. Like it's been through one thousand washes. It wasn't perfectly made for your body, but you made it so over time.

you forgot military larper

i buy calvin klein packs of t shirts. tagless, 100% cotton, """classic""" fit.
shrink slightly with a warm wash. fits me great, one of the few t shirts ive found that fits in the shoulders nicely.
>>
Uniqlo U Crewneck Tees are the best for the price

I really like the A&F classic essential tee.
