I will be traveling to a tropical country shortly, and I want something versatile that doesn't make me look like a clueless tourist or a Vietnamese rice farmer.

I'm not big into hats because they are either super casual or super formal and don't typically fit the outfits that I'm bringing; I especially hate baseball caps. It seems like flat caps are the only ones that interest me, but these seem more suitable for cooler climates. Should I buy multiple hats for the occasion?
