What are some watches similar to this one in a smaller case size, desert sand colored case with a kind of military vibe, I love the grey dial too but it's not a must. 41mm is too big and I've never been a fan of the IWC pilot style anyway.I only know of two, both burger microbrands with cerakote coated cases. Then remove the movement with the dial (look for the mov't manual where to press a specific spot to unlock and detach the crown). Remove the mov't with the dial from the case. You might also need to remove the hands if you plan to remove the dial from the mov't to get the dial engraved. This is just a couple of mins. of work for a watch repairer. Or if you want to DIY the removal process, the tools are inexpensive, maybe use aliex or amazon, (caseback remover, hand remover). Just be careful with the dial, you may scratch it, cut an acetate/thick plastic to protect the dial when removing the hands or buy them pre-cut for warch repair and mods. There are alot of vids on how to remove the mov't from the case.t. I made this all up

Plus you get sub 10mm thicknesses out of them, although they're worse movements than the 7548, which was built like a tank but is 50% thicker because of it. Bezels aren't great, they're all friction as far as I've seen.
