Limited uses? Sure. But so is Tyrannosaurus Rex, and I wear that a few times every year as well. Not sure what you mean by AWoWC being both sharp and thin? I don’t register it as either, it’s an extremely decadent, smoky sweet scent, mimicking the scent of a freshly pressed waffle cone. That pleasant, baked crisp sugar note with a tinge of singe to. Honestly, a lot of people register it as pancake syrup (and love it) and while I can’t prove it, I’m pretty sure they use Sotolon as one of the aromachemicals. I wear it pretty strictly in the winter, but it’s always a crowd favorite if you’re just looking for compliments. Your nose is not my nose fren, if you don’t like them, you can by all means say that, but not everyone has to agree. Also, just as an offset, I will agree 100% that Untamable is putrid, that shit is one of the worst smelling fragrances I’ve ever smelled, easily bottom 5, maybe bottom 3. Once again I have blind bought from Burlington.Today I came home with Atlantis Extrait.The comparisons to a watermelon jolly rancher are not unfounded, its a mega strong watermelon smell during the opening. I have a double feature today, starting with Armani Code Sport. The fresh citrus top notes (mandarin?) scream, and I mean scream, Y2K. Code Sport has the mandarin+ginger of Kenneth Cole Black and Romance for Men. I wore black in the early 2000s, that's where my association comes from. You already start to get a semi-sweet woodiness at the top. I get a cedar very remeniscent of Armani Mania. Code Sport is a flanker of Code, but it's also the same bottle shape as Mania, same family. Cedar is not listed in Sport but maybe I pick it up from the Ambroxan. Mania also has mandarin leaf, and amber. Speaking of listed, Sport is meant to have a huge mint note that I barely pick up. I get the sweet mandarin and ambroxan more. I do get the watery notes. It's otherwise a simple and tame fragrance. If you're into the Y2K mandarin it's neat but they are all so similar. Some reviews were dismisive of the "Sport" monicker but they're just being pretentious, if this isn't a sport's fragrance I don't know what is. Yes it's versatile but it is also very sporty. I found it a little boring but I got told I smell nice so I'll give it a chance. Projection is decent at first but the longevity is gone by lunch time.Not big on boxes but this one was really striking. The front is matte black like the bottle and the inside is the most vibrant and beautiful shade of red on matte paper.

It's not elegant or fancy, smells very cheap like a spiced rum drink. The start has decent projection (for an oldie) but the sweetness hides the good stuff bellow. The woodiness like the rosewood smells very aged but stays close to the skin, what projects is the sweet cinnamon. After it all dies down the amber, vanilla, and tobacco remind me a little of Tauer's Sundowner for a bit. The performance is restrained, meaning the performance it's bad after the top notes. I feel I have too many sweet tobacco fragrances. This fragrance feels like a monkey paw for me since I always wanted a Sundower that was a bit less sweet and this is that but not super interesting. I'll see how it goes, maybe it will do better worn casually. The bottle is cute, the plastic top that tries to look like a wooden cap.

The notes tell you little about the smell, knowing how a fragrance leans is very helpful. You can wear whatever you want but it's good to have the information.
