Exfoliate about every other day, which you would normally do just by shaving. Rinse it out afterwards. When cleaning your face, just use regular facial soap if it's short. If you have a long bushy beard, you have to care for it using shampoo and stuff like you would the hair on top of your head. You can probably search around for beard oils an shit too if you really want to go down that rabbit hole.If you still get a lot of dandruff, it's probably because your face is just getting really dried out and you should focus on using a good moisturizer/oil over caring for the beard hair specifically.

>>18775206How do you even GET beard dandruff in the first place? I'd never heard of it until this thread. Gross.
>>18777259Mother bitch, it's the exact same as scalp dandruff. The skin underneath needs exfoliation and moisturizing
>>18777259>How do you even GET beard dandruff in the first place?Same as any other place on your skin. Usually normal flora getting out of control because you're a gross person, but also underlying diseases like psoriasis or as simple as stress or refusing to moisturize.
So I'm assuming this just happens to people who don't bathe every day.
>>18777661i shower every day
>>18775206Stopping being indian(no cap on god tho, I put minoxidil on my skin for beard growth and it gives me dry skin. I clean it up and it won't be a thing after I quit minoxidil but it's taking a while. Like a couple years and it's getting thick really slowly)
>>18777661literally the exact opposite
>>18775206I used shampoo in pic related in my beard every couple days and also thoroughly combed out the beard more often as well. It might not like totally cure it but it definitely got it to a point where I didn't have to worry about it getting on my clothes or anything. The beard also felt way better as well.
>>18777825This shit is terribly harsh on your scalp
You might be washing your face with water thats too hot
>>18777254How does one go about milking an emu for oil?
>>18777120>>18777128This is the non-meme answer and the only way you're going to tackle dandruff that bad. All the guys talking about conditioner and oils alone are full of shit.>Ketoconazole shampoo 2x week>Face/beard wash 2x daily>Apply beard oil after every beard wash>Boar bristle brush to exfoliate the skin and distribute the oil after every wash>Drop the ketoconazole when the dandruff disappears
