If it's a heavy weight that you can put up and down then I'm sure it'll work
>>
>>76563253
Im sure that lifting will be perfectly fine with those Im just scared of them falling apart because of the complex mechanism.

What do the reviews look like?
>>

for these specific ones people say they are good but that they rattle a bit.
for others of that type they say that they can break if you drop them.
I dont really plan on dropping them though.
>>
those are just nuobells with a different sticker tacked on in the chinese factory

Don’t buy these. Even the top-line rep ones will jiggle and break/deform if you drop them enough. Just get Ironmasters, they’re indestructible.
>but muh supersets
Are way overrated
>>
nuobells - dogshit with no redeeming features
trulaps - fine adjustments, still kinda flimsy
snodes - somewhat robust, very coarse adjustments, likely requires addon plates
ironmasters - brick shithouse construction, very compact for the weight, slow adjustment
eisenlink/ifast/zipro - chinky ironmasters, bulkier, cheaper, different but still slow adjustment system
rep quickdraw - quick change, robust, but bulky and doesn't go heavy
powerblock - fast changem bulky, cuck cage, love it or hate it
rep x peppin - ungodly expensive for a piece of metal you lift with your hands, otherwise best at everything if you don't mind the cage, still much bulkier than fixed or ironmasters

think Im gonna go for the sneeds. all iron sounds good.

Have you tried not being a slack jaw gorilla nigger that drops their weights?

I got ironmasters and am very happy with them. I would really really hate to deal with anything breaking and needing repaired, and ironmasters are by far the most durable and best warranty. They are annoying to change but I don't do warmup or deload sets with them. They feel rock solid with no rattle at all, and I got the 45lb expansion to go up to 120lbs.

you buy adjustable dumbbells for convenience not longevity.
literally all of them have some fiddly part that breaks irreparably once you drop it enough times
>>
>>76563461
how are you gonna avoid dropping weights when you're doing chest presses with a dumbbell alone at home?
even if you use volumetric slow progress method there will be some day where you push too hard or some joint feels weird and have to bail.
the concept is fundamentally stupid esp now that you can buy cable machines for cheap too thanks to chinese factories

Every adjustable dumbbell purchaser:
>I need these to last forever, because I'm going to keep lifting forever!
>I need these to go ridiculously heavy, because I'm going to be a world-class athlete one day!
>*gives up after three weeks*
These things are only really bought by people who don't lift, but are convinced that a home gym will motivate them to start. People who have already lifted for years before starting a home gym will usually go for a barbell instead, and will settle for a cheap pair of dumbbells for the movements that actually need them.

Just get these, no finnicky proprietary moving parts - just a thread and a bolt, and any weight plates can be used.
t. used them for 5 years now with no problems

REP fitness makes a great pair of adjustable dumbbells that go up to 120lbs.
Be prepared to drop 1k+ tho

How long are they. I have the CAP brand ones, but I think theyre too goddamn long. Id get yours if theyre the same length as a regular dumbbell.
>picrel is mine
See how long they are?
