Been lifting for a couple months, trying to hit each muscle group an equal amount. I can certainly feel a difference everywhere, but visibly there hasn't been too much change.

Except for my arms, which have fucking exploded.

They're not huge or anything, but they're way bigger and veinier than they used to be.

I'm just wondering if it's normal for the first big visible change to be in the arms? I haven't even done an arm routine in weeks and yet they're the most impressive part of my physique right now. Does my form just suck ass?

Men carry very little of their fat on their arms, so muscles tend to be more visible on them at higher bodyfats
>>
>>76565614
That's cool information, but I don't think it's applicable here as I'm a fuckin twig

I hate when that happens.

just noob gains, I had the same experience when first starting out. It tapers off faster than chest, legs, and back and you'll soon have no choice but to gain weight if you want additional growth
>>
>>76566240
What are the odds I can manipulate my genetics to get a fucking awning of a chest? There's a protein powder for that right? RIGHT?
>>
>>76566318
Steroids? There is 0% chance you can edit your fkn dna let alone by drinking a protein shake mate.

or lean on elbow sitting sideways on bench with dumbbell in hand and gain weight only in biceps muscle belly, brachialis, brachiradialis, short head but predominantly long head muscle belly gain weight
that will also work, and ur biceps will look sick with developed long head :D
u can expect legitimately inch in few weeks :D
>that is not possible, maybe for novice blah blah noob gains expired, u ain't getting this much from mere isometric hold that looks like lazy retard's pastime
it's a completely new stimuli bot, the long head that wasn't will emerge :D

possibly
>beginner gains
>your workouts aren't as balanced as you think
>your form is shit, so you train arms more than you want to
typically that happens with shoulders / back, but entirely possible it happens with arms
>genetics
>you're too retarded to spot gains elsewhere / no reference
pecs, abs, back etc. gains are harder to notice if you're not low BF%

you could do a bioelectrical impedance analysis
some gyms offer that
but if you haven't yet it's of course only good to compare to future gains

most realistically I'd go with >>76565614

>>76566996
so u need to disengage front delt to successfully load biceps muscle belly with continuous tension to grow it
lean on elbow and watch it grow as it is finally not pinched by delt flexing to hold humerus upright
now that i think of it maybe it's also lack of traps flexing that works here somehow ? dunno, it works

and abs are easily isolated from iliopsoas when u hook heels on edge of bed and pull down as u crunch, pull heels to ur ass and down - switches off iliopsoas, gives u abs in weeks cause it's again noobz gainz - new stimuli
>>
could be bad form on push/pul movements so you use more arm or you might train your arm with more intensity because its easier since its a smaller muscle.

It's genetic, I do lift less than most people here in terms of weight but my arm is 19 inches unpumped

Funny how in this thread fitizens admit that there is less fat on the arms yet in my threads on how powerlifting is shit tier and I say I have 19 inch arms and have never benched 225lbs people will say it's all fat

Lol gg
>>
Also if you're running starting strength and using the grip rippetoe prescribes, you will work more arm than it seems most people do on those exercises, not saying it's right or wrong, I prefer that grip personally
>>
>>76567212
It is all fat. You are fat
>>
>>76567322
yeah he's fat and not real - it's a.i. milky murky hazy slop
also i solved biceps D:

Probably retarded then because other than a little extra meat on my gut and legs I'm skinny as hell.

it's called lazy retard technique support under elbow/forearm not even half curls that actually grow biceps and long head in particularity for a reason bot :D

mine:

>that is not possible, maybe for novice blah blah noob gains expired, u ain't getting this much from mere isometric hold that looks like lazy retard's pastime
>it's a completely new stimuli bot, the long head that wasn't will emerge once it is used just ONCE, THEY CALL IT NOOB GAINZ

or to put it differently: u are most probably completely devoid of long head development, it's there but u've been neglecting it all this time, abusing trying to work it while pinched by delt - it's all good though, sit on bench sideways with uno dumbbell, lean on elbow/forearm and watch it grow :D

pictured is roided retard that never grew long head of biceps, it is exactly the same shape and size as when he started :D u can't fucking argue with that, and u don't bot u're just gonna try to attack me somehow as if i didn't already have vandamesque biceps :D

Give me your workout, l want my arms to explode too.
>>
>>76567212
if you can't even bench 225 and your arms are 19 inches

what do you think your arms are made of? lol
>>
>>76569326
Muscle, dumb bitch, what are your 15 inch pytons made of

It's literally genetics and the importance of heavy weight is vastly overrated, I also have short arms or a very long torso for my height, basically both

You can literally see the shape of my arm confirming it's muscle and not fat

There is 1 inch of fat on my arms, on a 19 inch arm, similar to most people over 20% bf
>>
>>76565600
you are pushing with triceps and pulling with biceps.

jokes aside, you feel your arms are getting big, but to others, they look the same aside from a popping vein that comes with time. this is very typical for a lot of ppl who look at the mirror with satisfaction after being pumped despite looking like shit.
