not enough internal hip rotation leads to posterior pelvic tilt ("straight" is already posterior tilt) flattened lordosis and pathological walking and breathing - your stride is shortened, u basically stop using calf muscles and glute max atrophies
>what's that got to do with QL
it takes over from external oblique stabilisation of pelvis
>but it's much weaker smaller muscle and to add insult to injury it is way closer to spine than obliques - shorter moment arm, it can not handle this load
precisely, and it all starts with too much external hip rotation, forget about diaphragmatic breathing also - QL is actually suppotive to diaphragm breathing muscle, it tugs on free floating ribs

do u know what is the worst thing u can do to acquire such lovely condition?
>what?
squats :D they grow enumerated on the picture and atrophy everything else, give u permanent external hip rotation with blown out of proportion vastus lateralis and adductrs - truly the evilest shit ever

>hey i wanna get in shape
>sure do squats, it's awesome :D

that probably would be fixed with training the posterior chain with bigger weights, to maintain the vertical balance?

Disc issues are way worse than QL issues retard. I strained my QL, the only really bad part is that nobody ever brings it up as a source of pain so I couldn't figure our what was wrong. You know what I did when I figured it out? Light lifting and PT exercises. Good as new. What do you do for a slipped disc?

I actually agree with this person in fact to go further it's probably genetic. Google Dalmation hip to learn more. Squats are russian propaganda they're obsessed with the barbell
