Keep your protein up, watch what you eat a little bit, don't drink too muss booze and you're golden. I lost two jeans sizes in a month (but I stayed at 95kg) just by woolking. I usually bang out 7-10k during work and doing everyday shit like shopping, than I go for an evening walk. If your goal is fat-loss, it's better to make one big walk and stay in Zone 2 consistently. If I do a 20k walk in one stretch, it will take me between 2,5-3 hours. People say they don't have time, but they will sit in front of the tv for hours and hours, just cut your screen time, listen to a podcast or audio book and walk away.If you're overweight (especially if you need to shed excess fat), but you're not morbidly obese and therefore unable to walk normally, walking is the silver bullet for all of your problems. Walking is not a chore for me, it's a necessity. Of course you need to be smart about it, especially if you're not used to it, but you'll adapt in no time.Make sure you have decent shoes, running shoes are fine, I'm currently walking in trail running shoes, but I also used lightweight hiking shoes etc. I prefer shoes with GoreTex, Merrell and Salomon were my last two pairs and they lasted me half a year with my walking schedule (that was pushing it, they are pretty much run down after 3-4 months of 20k steps a day). If you're on a tight shoe budget, just grab some Sketchers or something like that. Decent fitting and good-quality socks that are made for that purpose are just as important! Use merino wool hiking socks or synthetic hiking socks, make sure they fit well. The right fit of your shoes and socks is very important! If you have known problem areas like your heels or the area on the side of your foot next to the big toe, pre-tape that shit. When you get blisters (not if, but when, you'll get them sooner or later), Compeed is your friend. Make sure you absolutely stay consistent and you will lose your fat at a surprisingly fast rate, that's a promise!
