Let's see how smart /fit/ is since there are a lot of people who give advice. For the average male, what would you consider a 225 lbs (102 kg) bench press? No cheating, go on your assumptions as 99% advice here is given on assumptions

does this answer your question?
>>
>>76571939
I ran a gym for a while and legitimately the overwhelming majority of gym going males can't bench 2pl8 let alone men in general.

I forgot to add the "X" like in the poll oh no

>1/2/3/4
More like stronger than 95% of people.

>>76572088
I seriously wonder how people like you manage to dress yourselves.

Stronger than 50% of people means that 1 out of 2 people can lift 1/2/3/4.

Stronger than 95% means 1 out of 20 can life that which I think seems more reasonable as a guess.

Honestly I think it’s more like 1 in 50, half the world are women, another quarter are children or old and the vast majority of people don’t lift.

If we’re talking men between 20 and 40 1 in 20 might be able right.

My intelligence is so far beyond your comprehension that you are unable to see it, anon. I do wonder how YOU manage to dress yourself.

You fucking retards think 1 in 20 people can deadlift 425lbs? Only 2% of the people in the world even go to the gym. 51% of them are female and out of the remaining 49% of men MAYBE 5% of them can lift that much. Next time you walk through a public gym just look at all the DYEL dudes in there who wont even touch a free weight.
>>
>>76571967
I know right, wtf kinda question is this?
>>
>>76572006
If its thats bad, get it checked out. Does it only mess with you when lifting? Does less weight do the same thing or just that weight? May have to stick with lower weight, its not worth it to really mess something up.
>>
>>76572516

I made the same points brother. Why are you calling me a retard when you lack basic comprehension.
>>
>>76572516
>b-b-but nooooo, there are these 5-10 jacked dudes in my gym they are way stronger than that
They have this perception bias where they compare themselves to the most committed, jacked and possible roid trooning/trt trooning guys in the gym. Lets not even talk about the social media.

People really need to get a grip. I'm a dyel going to a basic gym, I can bench above lmao3pl8 as 1rm, I RARELY see anyone approaching this weight. Like I've seen only a handful of people that can do it for reps.
Even 225lbs for 5 reps is rare. People doing freeweights is rare if you look at everyone that goes to the gym.

To think that an average lifter can do 3pl8 squat is insane to me. People can't even get the technique right with 2pl8 and half rep that if they squat at all.

It feels light usually(1-12rm on a bad day) and i kinda need to rework my entire fucking program. Has anyone here had faster progress past 3pl8s? Or is it all trying not to get cortisol buildup in the tendons/joints because my shits fucked.
>>
>>76572542
Because you said 1 in 50 when it's more like 1 in 5000
>>
>>76572516
>You fucking retards think 1 in 20 people can deadlift 425lbs?
I think it's a lot higher than that. Even 50% like the original post is probably low.
>Only 2% of the people in the world even go to the gym.
We're talking about what people can lift FULL STOP, not what they can lift RIGHT NOW. That's like saying biking a mile in 10 minutes is actually really fast because most people don't ride bikes. It doesn't make sense to compare to someone who isn't trying.
>>
>>76572575

I don't count women and those that don't lift as people.
>>
>>76572586
this must be a bait post. i get it, you live in the US and you probably live in a relatively tall town like i did. i'm the shorest male in my family at 6'0 and my starting weight of benching after not lifting for years is 185 and i can get up to 225 in less than a month. 99% of the entire population of the world is small and weak.
>>
>>76571939
I guess Im not smart. What is the question even asking!?
>>
>>76572586
>We're talking about what people can lift FULL STOP, not what they can lift RIGHT NOW.
Nigger you are retarded FULL STOP. Reading your post and following your logic (if you can call the two brain cells you have sparking up against each other logic) almost gave me a stroke. I hope this is bait
>>
